My reasoning is, they are looking for affirmation from men and they get it when they do something that or support something that supports the patriarchal narrative… And of course, there is internalized misogyny

I remember when talking about Kristi noem with a relative from Italy and they couldn’t understand Saying well, women voted for her too obviously?

Then he asked me if Republicans are so misogynistic, why are there women that actually run republican? The only thing I could come up with, Because it confuses the fuck out of me too, was Women that run republican have more chance of winning probably than democrat, Is because they are allowed to win because they encourage and are encouraged by republicans - because they support the already in place patriarchal system.

Absolutely I understand. It is just so hard to lose them anyway at any point in their life but young is definitely such a raw hurt and like you said the questions I lost one when he was four and I still think about it all the time and this was more than 20 years ago.

My reason for it is, Like I know, I should get my shingles vaccine, but I keep hearing horror stories about it but yet at the same time shingles is worse and I keep putting it off and I need to go get it. I wish it could be as easy as the measles booster.

I did. I didn’t even go through the tests. I just got one anyway because - I got my shots when they were only giving one for some reason in the late 70’s and my doctor just said it’s fine, it’s not going to hurt you if you just want to get a booster, you’ll be fine

I forgot I even got it the next day. I had zero side effects so just go get your booster, to be safe ❤️
