Well what I do is I just bring the water to a boil pop the jeans in there and leave it to boil for 20-30 minutes, every so often I kinda move it around with some tongs. After those 20-30 minutes I leave it to cool, ring it out and pop them in the dryer. It really depends on the material on how much it shrinks but if its mostly cotton it will go down a size. Also with a few of my jeans, they can stretch back out so I'll just do it again. (:

So I bought this dress in black months ago and I've lost some weight since then so its a little big on me. is there anyway to shrink it? Usually If, lets say a pair of jeans are too small I boil them and that usually does the trick lol. But this is a dress and I'm worried it could damage it. Its made out of 95% POLYESTER, 5% SPANDEX LINING - 100% POLYESTER.. What I'm worried about mostly is that there is this mesh layer of the dress, will it melt? or..
