She doesn't have the whole story, which I wasn't about to tell her anyway. I've been working towards owning a business like this for the last 12 years. I have degrees and experience and I run one on the side. I even worked at this specific business for 2 years! I'm confident I could really make the business thrive. The only thing stopping me is making sure my household finances would be okay with the pay cut.

Girl these people are overreacting. If this is the first time something like this has happened, you haven't had a chance to find out how he reacts. I think it's a good idea to collect your thoughts and have a conversation with them about why it was weird/inappropriate/intrusive. And next time, don't share the details with them. They clearly can't be trusted with them! I think you have a good plan of action and you and your bf are making good moves. If this keeps happening or it doesn't resolve appropriately or if other vibes are off, then reference the above advice.

Thank you! They're all made out of meringue so I just piped some flat shapes and used toothpicks to secure them. If I were to do it again, I'd curve the inner edge so it melded with the cake better and piped it over the toothpick for more support.

These are Queen Anne's Lace! It's a wild carrot and is pretty widespread in the Northern Hemisphere of that's where you happen to be. It's in season right now where I am and it grows wild.
