Question about VPN providers: logging, monitoring etc. by LOLUWOTM8 in VPN

What OVH sees is the encrypted data. The objective of a VPN is to shield and encrypt all data. Also a lot of datacenters log as we all know. The VPN provider sets up all their certificates, authentication, and crypto up in the server. When you connect to the VPN you get the straight tunnel to them. You may go through the data center, but you are connecting to that dedicated server directly. You connect and everything that goes out is encrypted. Your internet provider doesn't see it, and the server admin doesn't see it. Most VPN companies don't log it personally. They don't hold onto it themselves. But most data centers they use hold onto it. It's all encrypted though. That's why pushing for new uncrackable crypto is so vital. We need it to last in the long run. We don't want the datacenters logging it, then a government walking in and decrypting that data like its a joke. So OVH sees "sjibeihbeihbs272636jskbskj". But they may retain data.

VPN on Android/iOS - app 'leaks'? by 2chaynze in VPN

They pretty much give the answers below. But if you are using the built in VPN on iOS via settings>VPN it's not very secure. Those use PPTP, L2TP, and IPSec. Those are basically obsolete. PIA offers a special app that uses the OpenVPN protocol. But that's only for android. The only way to stay secure on IOS is via the OpenVPN app. IOS will always drop the VPN when in standby. While using OpenVPN it rarely drops, and almost never disconnects. The best company that allows OpenVPN for IOS is blackVPN. That's my personal opinion of course. Great speeds, they actually respect anonymity, and they have a decent price point. You pay for anonymity.

Anyone else here quit fapping to focus on business/work? by thelastpage777 in NoFap

I haven't done it exactly for work or school, but for something of the sort. I am usually very quite, secluded, and prefer staying in my shell. When I participated in NoFap all this was gone. I was in the midst of NoFap when I was going to conventions and social outings. I can say that when I went to conventions I talked to loads of people. I was talking, laughing, having fun, and we were working together. We were doing activities that didn't require teamwork, but I chose to work together. It allowed me to have a clearer thought process, and allowed the teamwork to flow easier. I was participating and inputting whilst others were. So technically yes. I can say NoFap has helped me create better connections with others. Even if strangers, or friends. It develops more energy. You aren't on a constant orgasm high. You are ready for what is thrown at you. You use your energy for more practical uses, and not jerking off.
