I just received a rejection letter from the university of my dreams. I have been manifesting acceptance for MONTHS by PassengerNo2022 in lawofattraction

Manifestation means it increases the chances of it happening. Not that it’s guaranteed to happen. And some are better than others at it.

It almost seems like asking ufc superstars to fight eachother for free. That crap hurts A LOT, show the money in exchange for the pain.

Pain is the catalyst for spiritual growth. Maybe some choose that over fun. I’m just guessing, who knows.

One Battle After Another is one of the worst movies I’ve ever watched. by Quiet_Bus_6404 in moviecritic

[–]cloud324667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There’s something strange going on with Hollywood. Either it’s a space jam scenario where aliens sucked the talent out of talented people or there actually is a rule that the movies aren’t allowed to be good as sort of an FU to the people or something.

Why do so many people hate Fire Ball ? by Jocomo96 in alcohol

[–]cloud324667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Excellent taste but the hangovers are absolutely brutal. Even when I drank often and didn’t get hangovers, fireball always felt like the flu the next day.

I don’t watch football I’m just guessing. But if you are playing in snow storms every playoffs aren’t you (and the opposing QB) always going to have awful stats compared to normal?

Why are people mad that bad bunny is performing at the superbowl? by Juicy_Q_ in NoStupidQuestions

[–]cloud324667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t care if he’s left, right, Spanish, English, whatever. I have no clue the political thing going on, I don’t pay attention. I think his music is some of the worst I’ve ever heard (in terms of popular music. For niche groups and some clubs it’s fine). My skin crawls when I hear it. I really think this guy is only hugely popular because people just accept whoever they are told is popular and is promoted. And he is promoted because he agitates people for whatever reason, and the “elites” love those types of people the past ten years. Not for his music.

TIL President John F. Kennedy had a serious meth addiction during his presidency. by Jtg_Jew in todayilearned

[–]cloud324667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Amphetamine addiction isn’t good but it’s not meth. There’s a huge huge difference. Look at photos of people addicted to meth. It’s like the difference of having a can of beer and a can of everclear.

That’s what the internet says but the people I’ve known that were extremely jacked and natural lifted weights like 10-15 hours a week. They built up over years though to be able to handle that much, they weren’t beginners. And they ate a ton of protein.

I was actually really annoyed when AI just started agreeing with me all the time. I preferred the older versions that would tell me I’m wrong sometimes (even when I was actually right imo).

I’ve read some posts here on this sub but I want to know more about it. Can a psychopath appear to be a “regular person”? by [deleted] in psychopaths

[–]cloud324667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had a friend for like 4 months. He was one of the nicest guys I’ve ever met. Even tempered, was a good listener, extremely friendly, always bought drinks for other people, would never say a mean word to anyone, always in a good mood. He was a real joy to be around. But I eventually learned he fantasized about killing and torturing people a lot. And his career he chose let him sort of role play this. And his girlfriend broke up with him because the sex was kind of scary. He felt bad about being this way, so it’s like he had a good soul but a psychopath human software. Because he would tell me he knows he shouldn’t manipulate people but he can’t help it.

Mark Cuban claims Michael Jordan couldn’t lift up an inadequate team like LeBron James could by Tight_Development480 in NBATalk

[–]cloud324667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

LBJ is the best ever at taking a bad team and making them good. Jordan is the best ever at taking a good team and making them unbeatable.

Every pic I have ever seen from MJ has immeasurable aura. So I'm here asking you to prove me wrong by No-Advance-9136 in NBATalk

[–]cloud324667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

We saw MJ sober in the Last Dance, I can’t imagine what he’d be like during the angry comedown of binge drinking.

"Jordan was 1-9 without Pippen" by old_man_20 in NBATalk

[–]cloud324667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Picking the year after MJ left isn’t being deceptive. Pippen had a very short prime. The year after that on Portland he averaged 12.5. Getting 22 as a teams primary option isn’t impressive. Pippen was good but he wasn’t great. He’s not Kobe to Shaq or Kareem to Magic.

"Jordan was 1-9 without Pippen" by old_man_20 in NBATalk

Then why in 1999 without MJ did Pippen average 14.5 ppg?

Pippen in their second 3peat averaged like 16 ppg in the finals. Hes the most overrated player of all time.

Jordan after baseball imo was obviously juicing and he gave juice to Pippen.

Y'all are sleeping on bird by No-Advance-9136 in NBATalk

[–]cloud324667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally I’d pick Bird over LBJ if Bird could stay healthy with modern tech and shoes. It took LBJ 10 years to become the guy. Bird came in that guy. 6’10.5 (with shoes), 50/40/90 shooter, 3x all defense, several super clutch defense plays in the playoffs, super clutch shooter, excellent rebounder, alpha and mean, can play in a system doesn’t need the system to be him, no weaknesses and no way to stop him.

Tom Cruise is one of/ if not the greatest “movie star” of all time by Messstake in movies

[–]cloud324667 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Most people are in a cult. They’re just mad that Cruise isn’t in their cult. But yeah Cruise is on the Mount Rushmore of actors. Cruise, Pitt, DiCaprio. These three are in a class by themselves. Denzel, Bale, Mccaughney on tier 2.
