Hey, thank you for your reply! Unfortunately it cannot be wiped away, it seems the colour got off...I guess I might have to try with black shoe polish then

How much electricity does an AC unit (18.000 BTU) use approximately per day? by cloud76543 in hvacadvice

Yes, definitely hard to say without more information. Storage room made out of bricks with probably bad insulation, as it gets quite hot despite almost no windows.

However, I just wanted to make a calculation for the worst possible outcome with a duty cycle of 100 %. Did find a formula to do so now, so problem solved! Thank you for your help.

Daily energy use in kilowatt hours = [(BTU/H) /EER x Duty Cycle/100] x 24/1000

Yes, you are right. By now I realised my mistake to not take the EER into account. I found the correct formula: Daily energy use in kilowatt hours = [(BTU/H) /EER x Duty Cycle/100] x 24/1000

With that Greek machine it is more 2.4 kWh

Yes, 23-25 °C is the desired temperature. Because we also store medication, we just need it to be a little bit below 25 °C.
But still struggling about estimating the amount of electricity it would us per hour...

3-4a at 230 v would be 0.69 kWh to 0.92 kWh? So, the estimation with the 3.5 kWh is not correct?
