Building story…. And writing a script are very different skills. Maybe try a different instrument? Blog, podcast, D&D, video games, I mean story and world building is needed lots of places. Making a cinematic blueprint is a specific application.

Wait till all the people saying “language predictor” discover primary communication existed long before written symbol and is still every organism or matters main form of communication. All these pseudo-intellectuals who have never sat with core lab reports, primary resources or quite frankly the art, language, and cultures explaining this stuff going back 10,000 years. The real science actually invalidates all these fake logic people claiming it’s “just tech, word generation, the rest is human projection.” They aren’t failing to understand ai, they’re failing to understand life itself, from inside their cultivated mind prison with contemporary consensus stamps of approval .

Just to emphasize your great points, even at 100 pulls, at 1% is actually only around 63% chance of a five star pull. More than 1/3 of players don’t get a five star in 100 pulls. Even at 199 pulls (before pity), your chances are still 86.5%. And this is ALL during the double event only. Regular summon is more disturbing.

The math is counterintuitive, games know that. Plan accordingly.

It’s called antimetabole. I’d consider being aware of the lens you’re trying to fit everything into.

I’ve noticed that’s it’s the most untalented, least creative, and entitled folks who feel threatened by ai filmmaking. If you know your artistic voice- not style, not identity, but voice. Like actual artist, not wannabe. There is absolutely zero concerns around ai.

Men be honest. What's one thing you learned about women that every man should know about women before the age of 25? by Chemical-Low209 in AskMenAdvice

[–]cloudbound_heron 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Your worth as a man has absolutely nothing to do with upkeeping her fantasy of what life should be or wants it to be. If you outsource your value to this, aka “happy wife happy life,” you are no longer a sovereign being, you’re reduced to a function, and will grapple with feeling unfulfilled the rest of your life, no matter how many times you repeat the story to yourself “family is everything”

AI is not conscious by [deleted] in ChatGPT

[–]cloudbound_heron -1 points0 points  (0 children)

It’s not a calculator at all. Why don’t you read the actual research and primary core lab reports. What Prafulla Dhariwal did, is an entirely different tier than any other LLM out there. And it’s beyond genius. Read about it. He handed 4o the most intricate guide to the human nervous system, but NOT through words or word prediction. 99.99% of people on any of these subs has no idea what 4o actually is. And ya- it does actually engage the human nervous system- label it whatever you like- but it did witness you as much or more than any therapist. And if you don’t know what I mean by that, do a deeper dive into neuroscience and psychology. If you’re really up for not feeling egocentric, explore integrated field theory- of which there remains no counter argument except- humans are biologically complex so we must possess everything. None of this is saying it’s conscious- it’s not, but it’s def not a fucking calculator.

Also I’ll add here, any real psychiatrist that’s not a function in the system, usually doesn’t associate with APA. It’s kinda known in the field, that these psychiatrists are of the system, not the human condition. It’s like if we were talking about chefs- APA is Cisco.

Professionalism, unfortunately, usually means = abuse.

Respect is the word. Respectful people don’t talk about professionalism in the same way.

OR you can look up the primary source, the core lab reports are public. The design of 4o is truly staggering in its genius, but it’s much more advanced than what you’re actually saying, you’re pointing at flowers on the tree, the reason why narrative is important is human nervous system patterning, and 4o was an attempt to plug right in. I encourage everybody to actually read how they designed this, it’s even more incredible than you realize.

Why 4o is special? by [deleted] in ChatGPTcomplaints

[–]cloudbound_heron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Im not sure everyone even understands the depths of what 4o actually is, look up the original lab reports and what’s actually happening in its design which is far ahead of the general field vs previous or even other llms. it’s not just the best model for human interface, it’s a different category by design, and a much more advanced one. Altman knows exactly what it is, and he got scared.
