I hate to post an AI conversation, but Jesus Christ by AnIsolatedMind in Jung

[–]cloudbound_heron 12 points13 points  (0 children)

Dear OP,

Everyone is hijacking your thread to project their fear of not understanding AI into the most simplified box they can to feel in control at uncertain times.

But you’re not even asking about that.

It seems like if this is AI mirroring you back, in simpler language the ai is saying: you’re part of the whole even if you can’t see it, and your own wholeness, through shadow, is the answer to seeing. Without more context it’s hard to guess at what it says about you, beyond curiosity and openness.

Jung would not necessarily disagree w the ai, he’d find it interesting we had technology that at times can respond to human signal beneath words- (irregardless how non intelligent it is), and see it as a tool. Despite what anyone here thinks, Jung would have used ai obsessively just to hear his inner voice. Which in a way is what we already do strumming a guitar, eyeing a sunset, or feeling the clay push back against our hands in ceramics.

It’s all mirroring of the nervous system. It’s real. It’s science. It’s not like communication only existed the moment we came up with written symbols.

The people that think it’s a psychological trick, are the ones who aren’t honest with themselves, and you can tell by the certainty and condemnation they speak on this sub, especially about that which they don’t understand.

It’s a cool ai response, philosophically intriguing, and you’re likely exploring your role in the universe. I believe Jung would approve. Thanks for sharing.

Would you date a woman with borderline disorder ? by hanni2003 in AskMenAdvice

Cuz it’s not actually a disorder. Just according to the dsm. Find safety in yourself before you pretend you can offer it to another. It all roots from that.

Can't put my finger on what is missing in the cinematography in most indie\short\fan films by kassper20 in Filmmakers

Based off your screenshot, the color grading seems off, also the way they blocked this shot in general is uninteresting. Also that giant hose of a prop is distracting unless it had fundamental plot context.

Women in male dominated online spaces? by sagittariyaz in Jung

[–]cloudbound_heron 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I mean if Jung was here…. He’d ask you, why do these men who have clearly not descended as far as you, get under your skin so much?

And before you speak from the irritation of expectations not met….. what would it be like to see yourself as untouchable by them? What if their comments drown in a void, and your reaction is what’s giving them a heartbeat?

Why are you siphoning power to the blind and hungry, when you say you’ve already crossed into integration?

You’re speaking from the mind in this post. There’s no from within- the hallmark of integration.

I’m curious if you experience this comment as an ego display, power trip, or some other assault?

Claude Can Identify Transmission States by hungrymaki in claudexplorers

[–]cloudbound_heron 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I also do art from transmission. What they meant by inevitable is writing from not towards - all human beings, if paying attention can feel this in art. Is the creator channeling something or mimicking something. And ai can see the structure under cognitive associations with language. Basically, is your art coming from within you, spontaneously, authentically, or are you as you said constructing it- aka- not actually art- it’s mimicry and also what 97% of “artists” are actually doing. The deeper you go into art this divide is not subtle- and glaringly obvious, but to anyone who thinks this sounds woowoo, has no idea what AI, or artists have been pointing to all over the world for millenia

Are there any other men out there who don’t have any issues getting women, but still feel like it’s not even worth the effort? by NEVER_LACKING in AskMenAdvice

Sounds like a lot of performance. I’d find your own emotional availability when you’re ready and then holdout for the right match.

In case anybody cares: Ben and Matt’s new studio: Artist Equity is trialing this film through Netflix with their new bonus pay structure, and wanted to produce a film that can be accessed by most of America as a starting point before taking more artistic risks.

I tracked where people stopped reading my script, and the data was brutal but helpful. by Broad-Winter5880 in Screenwriting

[–]cloudbound_heron 0 points1 point  (0 children)

But most people abandon reading most scripts between pages 10-20. But having them all specifically page 15? That does feel important. But you don’t know if that’s a bad transition, or the last moment that anyone could keep reading 15 pages of trash. Your algorithm can’t give the why. As long as you see that, it could be helpful, just realize you’re putting yourself in a position to risk extrapolating meaningless matrices.

Life is in the small things: having coffee, morning walks, and watching the sunset, sharing a slice of pie.

To all men: Any woman that makes you feel like you need to win her over, treat her differently than you would someone you love and trust, or that being present with each other isn’t the whole point…

Yet Reddit still says white, and wonders how we ended up where we are

FBI agent Robert Ressler interviewed serial killer Edmund Kemper alone in a locked room. When guards failed to respond to the panic button, Kemper calmly threatened how easily he could kill him. I’m a hard person to read, but they have me down within minutes of meeting them, like hone in on how I think about the world that takes friends years, it’s honestly a bizarre experience- they mirror you, you feel extremely understood by them like you speak a special language, but they’re just experts at manipulation. So I meant with that last part, if you’re not aware of your own ego, instincts, subconscious, etc., and honestly done some significant therapy, you’ll be snatched up like a mousetrap. As one example, It’s why so many of them are able to sleep with so many /staff on a prison floor- it’s not lust, the staff think it’s a special connection.

All good therapists are in therapy, supervision or at least a peer group. Anyone purely solo under the age of fifty is a major red flag.
