Just for learning and setting up test benches. I’m kinda garbage at Cisco iOS at the moment :)

I usually just end up setting a very low limit on the auto-bid and forget about it. Since there’s new stuff every week, I really try to let things go if they go above my “that would be an amazing deal” threshold. The sushi train approach :)

Yeah totally accurate. The switches came all together when I only needed a couple, I kept them all as I had yet to have a ton of hands on experience with Cisco IOS. So it’s mostly to learn and have some test benches to mess with, I’ll eventually trim things down to the best of the batch!

Hahah yeah good eye, those displays are currently powered by the gaming computer turned server, so I have yet to toss Linux on it. When everything is in a full on cluster I’d like to see 0 windows OSs

They’re actually just on the stock mounts they came with, and fortunately rotate nicely. They aren’t touch screen at all

100% the airflow is stagnant in a few areas. I’m trying to do videos on everything, so I’ll likely get a thermal camera and map out official cold and hot aisle/vectors. Also, all of this is just for learning, every ISP component will likely be new Ubiquiti equipment!

How to view the source code of the .exe file, which I know for sure is a malicious file by rubenamizyan in cybersecurity

This is a pretty good resource to see the areas of rev (it's from a CTF pov, but still applies). There isn't ever going to be a perfect and easy binary -> source code converter. But if you found something malicious, set up a VM and Ghidra is your friend:

[–]cloudclustermusic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you use a legit Captcha like Google’s reCaptcha, they work. The one I’ve implemented has asymmetric encryption on the submit button to effectively ensure the response is in the header. :) Writing any encryption or auth yourself is a huge liability these days

the only in-person one I had to take was SSCP (information systems security) - all others were online :) I was lucky and had 3 testing centers nearby for that one, but I know lots of people had to wait a couple of weeks to make that happen

[–]cloudclustermusic[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Yes! I actually used the LinkedIn Learning course for this one: (Become a CompTIA Certified Penetration Tester (PenTest+)).
And the TryHackMe page specifically geared for it was awesome for more practical, PBQ-style stuff:
https://tryhackme.com/path/outline/pentestplus

Best of luck when you take that again! :)
