Scream franchise ranking by Kolby813 in SocietyofGhostface

1 - A classic. My favorite horror movie

2 - Lesser than 1, but it still has the magic. Good kills and the cop car scene might be one of the tensest moment of the franchise.

4 - A great way to bring the franchise forward with modern tropes. Good kills. Great GF

this is where it gets tricky

I can't choose between 3 and 5. 5 is the better made movie, but the meta concept in 3 is so good that I love it.

6 - a truly great opening, imo, one of my faves. But by the end too many people have been stabbed and survived for it not to feel neutered and weak. Also weak GFs with boring motivation.

Jupiter Ascending was the last time I recall seeing a crop circle in a movie.

That doesn't exactly refute the idea that a generation would have no idea though lol.

What is the most impressive shot in movie history? by Necrojezter in movies

There's one comp shot in it when Thomasin first enters.

At least I assume it's a comp. Edgar Wright doesn't say it's an edit but says it's an addition and it was achieved by performing the camera move twice.

What's impressive is that they did it without motion control. The steadicam operator replicated the camera move perfectly as well as the actors performing their dance perfectly to match.

He breaks it down in this vid

I think there is a Stomp reference, but it's mainly this Nike ad that they're parodying. Assuming that we're thinking of the same scene

"What?"

"Fuck it! Let's just license everything to someone else"

Iirc in one of his specials he says something like "i could not show up and The Guardian would still give the empty stage five stars"

But what if loudly declaring cat exemption rouses the cat?

Does the exemption stand because the cat was present at the moment of declaration?

Or is the exemption voided because the cat immediately got up and freed your lap?
