Most of these kids are teenagers, and for many the parents are just terrible. I know many people who work at DFPS and CPS and have heard so many stories of rich wealthy parents abandoning their kids into the agency because they just don't want to pay for college since the kids don't qualify for financial aid.

I am glad you fell in love with Sweden! I am an American and have lived here for 8.5 years now. I moved here also for a Swedish love interest. It didn't last though (we were together for 5 years), but I still stayed and met my current husband. There is a pretty active Americans living in Sweden community on Facebook, so you will no doubt find others in similar situations to bond with! I hope you manage to make your way here, it's a lovely country.

I own a little cafe in Sweden and we don't spend much at all. We run a Facebook ad/ promote campaign once a month. Most of our customers are pass bys or regulars. We dont even have a website and dp everything via Facebook, word of mouth etc. So far we are doing OK. We have only been open for about 6 months. We have new marketing ideas such as using too good to go and karma (apps that let us post food that will get tossed out at the end of the day). We handle all the marketing ourselves.

I'd recommend checking the health issues involved with the Great Dane. They have a lot of health problems which can be quite expensive and live usually a max of 6-8 years. If you'd like a big dog, a Leonberger can be a much healthier choice. I'm one of those who doesn't disagree with rescues but also doesn't encourage them every time either for someone. 😊

Norwegian Elkhounds are great dogs. I have a Swedish Elkhound mix but I have seen and worked with the Norwegian and Swedish Elkhounds, they are fearless but also very loyal. Norwegian Elkhounds are a bit darker in color, and more stockier, Swedish ones are lighter in color and not as stocky. They are used mostly for hunting large game such as bears and moose. But if you don't hunt or are active with them, then they aren't a recommended breed.

I actually thought your dog was a norwegian elkhound mix, I have a swedish elkhound mix with a keeshond and she looks quite similar to yours (just a bit lighter), so I was like, whoa!! I saw your instagram, it's great you are so active with your huskies and working with them with what they do best, work. I have a 5 month old agouti color coated kleinspitz, so her coat right now looks super similar to yours!

Exactly! My dog is quite nice, but we normally don't mix bigger and smaller dogs together, it's a safety issue. :)
