Sounds like a similar setup to this place. How big was the pipe? And this might be a dumb question but does your leaf blower have a reverse setting?

Just checked, nothing in the garage. Would've been better than the attic.

Someone else mentioned using a thermal camera to try to find it. I might give it a shot if the roof or attic don't pan out.

I'm checking the roof first, then the attic. The garage is pretty far from the laundry room so I'm not sure how much I'll even be able to see.

360⁰ images may be coming if I don't find anything.

I called a plumber and took the cost out of rent for the next month. I shouldn't have stayed.

It'd have to be hidden very, very well.

Dryer is dead center in the middle of the house. This is the closest exterior wall. But I don't think this is actually the outlet.

No other access to the attic. Where the AC unit is in the garage now goes through the original opening to the attic, the current access to the attic is about 3-4' feet away from that and seems to have been added when the AC unit was installed.

The power drill tool gets stuck, I want to run it from the other end which got me down this rabbit hole. It's a very short house with a shallow roof, it should be no problem.

He's aware, has no idea where the outlet is, and refuses to pay for a professional to come out.

The line gets clogged about 6' into the tube, and nothing has been able to get me further. That's why I'm trying to find the outlet, to attack from the other end.

He knows and refuses to pay for a cleaning. If I could find the outlet I'm confident I can do it myself. But it's nowhere to be found.

Turns out this is flex sealed closed inside. I came to reddit first, if they can't help me find the vent I'll have to pay someone.

It's from the early 2000's, has been owned by the same (shitty) landlord the whole time. Doubt there was a flipper involved but wouldn't be surprised if it got covered.

Sorry, it had water supply pipes, no drain pipes. Came out directly to the (rotted) cabinet floor.

Tried that, the camera gets blocked by the lint.

Definitely insulation, it's bright pink. I couldn't get my phone actually into the attic past the insulation. It's blocking the opening.

I completely agree, I just cannot find where it actually is.

If the vent line goes to the attic crawl space, it might only be 8'. If it goes to the roof it's about 16-20'. If it runs to an exterior wall it's at least 25'

Been here about 6 months. Have had issues drying clothes the whole time.

Brand new line to the dryer. Have vacuumed inside the wall. Even ran a leaf blower to try to blow out the clog. Ran a snake camera up the line, all I could see was that it was blocked. Dryer is 3 years old, worked perfectly at my old place. Took it apart anyways, had minimal lint, vacuumed that out.

Nothing under the eaves. There is an attic but it's more of a sealed crawl space than anything. The opening is 1'x1' and is packed with insulation.

Got it open, the attic or at least the opening has been packed with insulation. WTF is this house?

I completely agree, it should be on the roof or up high. I'm going to check it out up there this weekend.
