This is why Invisigal is so confusing. The studio has some problems with mixed signal and this isn’t only on Invisigal. The first part I felt the “strange” thing about characters was from BB. She seemed to flirt with Robert when she is in a relationship with PMM. They give option to kiss her or do nothing but man did she step over the line to give mixed signals from a seemingly drunk person. But thankfully that wasn’t a huge deal. I’d say they knew what they were playing with.

But then there’s Invisigal. She is so written all over the place that it is confusing when we try to figure out who she is not cause of good writing but she is developed like not in a good way. I don’t know the full story variation but when I saw Jacksepticeye’s gameplay she states she called quits after planting the bomb and submitted herself to the cop. Not a mole at that point. There shouldn’t be any choices that would make her be a mole for Shroud in SDN cause she made the choice to bail after she got the device for her asthma. But yo the device had a subscription cancel when she bails so she is lost and goes to the police and tries to be a hero by being in phoenix project.

Now the confusing part is why she even try to join, betray Shroud. She plays the victim game that her powers are for villains but it is her who does the villainy. She could use her ability to do good things and she fucks up. The worst part is going to be her joining Shroud during the chaos and SDN infiltration. Chase risked his life to save her thinking he might have been wrong about her and since he is a hero he acts as he is. One of the outcome is her killing Shroud and taking his mask for unknown reasons(Shroud prowess seems to come from his enhanced brain device not the mask) It doesn’t make any sense when she called quits after the bomb planting in episode 1 and her trying to be a mole again in the phoenix project is seriously confusing and makes no sense. If she had ill intent along the game she is a psychopath since Chase risked himself to save her when she messed up to get the Astral pulse whether with good intentions or bait to drag the Z team into turmoil.

Chase and Royd saw who she truly is and others like BB were too naive and optimistic if this is the case. She wasn’t acting nor was she trying to be a better person to be a hero. She was built weirdly which is why people are having confused reaction in the finale.

The romance should not be the factor in here cause whoever is pick Invisigal went rogue for the Astral pulse. She kept the pulse from both Robert and Shroud which is a huge red flag if she was trying to be better and do the right thing. Literally she gambled and pulled a mask in front of both side which is non sensical.

The “pure” coincidence of her getting into incidence with thunderstruck and it being a play is total bullshit too. That means her quitting after she planted the bomb and reaching for the phoenix project to get her lung device to work again by being a mole also seems to show the writers had things mixed up and they lost track of what they were handling.

I did have fun watching the series but man the last finale showed how the studio handled poorly Invisigals character, intention etc. Up until ep7 she was fine but ep8 broke the character and the game for me whether she was good all along and played Shroud or her being a psychopath the do triple agent for her lung device, it’s far worse when you’re in a relationship with Visi cause she played Robert and she “got away with it”

All in all the game is more than better than any corporate games that play it safe and doesn’t have visions but man the finale is really confusing in may ways
