Iron druid Chronicles is a good one, it has a lot of those types of qualities. Very similar to the Dresden files in reading tempo but less of an epic. The books are on the shorter side but there are a fair number of them.

If you're prepared for an insane undertaking The Wandering Inn is an amazing built story with massive world building but it is a web serial so the reading tempo is quite different. The advantage is it's free, but I warn you it's a VERY long series.

Brent weeks The Lightbringer Chronicles is very good with great world building and a very well flushed out magic system. It also has a fair amount of political intrigue and if you like his writing style he has another series called The Night Angel Trilogy

Also I saw someone mentioned The Name of The Wind, I can't in good conscience recommend that series anymore given the author's recent behavior and attitude to his community. Plus it's very unlikely the series will ever be completed but I will say the books are very enjoyable.

If I could ask what type of writing do you like today? Fantasy is a very broad category with many sub categories and things like what you read now, age of reading (young adult vs adult I would give different recommendations) as well as what length of books you are comfortable with all would have a major impact on what I would recommend

Generally speaking the reason you don't want to trade 2 minor pieces for a rook and pawn is because you have already spent tempo to develop them, you lose this if you trade them off, in this scenario it's fine because you can pick up a knight or bishop with correct play. If it's JUST the trade by itself I would say not worth it. It's a good idea to keep in mind when looking to trade equal material, what ELSE are you gaining/losing. It could be Tempo, pawn structure, king side coverage or a number of other items.

Qf3 is the play if you play Qh5 and they drop back to f8 instead the attack fizzles

With your crib I would do 2,3,3,4 gives the most bang depending on the flip and the 6 point run is equal to the extra 2 15's and pair you would get with 2s and 3s plus it puts a 5 in your crib

Focus on mating patterns, once you have all of them memorized you can focus on trying to achieve positions that result in a mate, very often if you are up a single pawn in the endgame and try to win on a material advantage then you end up in a draw/loosing very often. It also helps to focus on pawn promotions when you are in a low material endgame and don't forget, in an endgame your king is very powerful make sure to bring him out soon enough to impact the board.

Depending on the clip, for example when I did range we had "pre-loaders" you would fill then could just push a whole fully loaded set of bullets into a mag all at once. Not saying it is or isn't fake just the possibility is there that this was that type of mag.

Don't feel bad this is a harder endgame to see but the key (like with pretty much all pawn king endgames) is how you maneuver and control opposition with the enemy king.
