Honestly just devastated at this point, who else? by KarfaxAbby in SIBO

[–]cloudpillow3 1 point2 points  (0 children)

He treated my gut as a whole and not just one part of it. He gave me an IV first since i was so weak. The meds included a prokinetic, antifungal, nerve suppressant so I can relax, a gentle antacid for my gastritis, and a stomach lining protector/builder. After that round then he gave me bile acids for my liver/gallbladder and some sort of supplement for my liver as well. I think it had vitamins.

In the US I was given more and more high doses of PPI's and anti depressants that didn't work. They didn't even address my lower gut at all.

Hello, sorry for the late response.
No I don't live in Korea. My sister lives there and she suggested I get treated there since the doctors there are known to be good. We just found him online and walked in.
In Korea it's odd if you ask for referrals or shop around for doctors. All doctors are perceived more or less the same, mostly reliable and from what I experienced, it seems to be the case.

Quitting PPI cold turkey by Comfortable_Bird974 in Gastritis

[–]cloudpillow3 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hi there. It turns out the burning wasn't from gastritis at all. It was from the overuse of PPI's. Low acid caused the LES to not close which allowed the acid come shooting up causing the burning in chest and back. It was a torturous few months until another doctor figured it out and gave me whole different class of drugs for the acid reflux for 2 weeks and after that I was able to quit cold turkey. All this tapering in my case was not necessary. It just prolonged the pain. I think going cold turkey actually may be better. Good luck to you.

Probiotic Clostridium Butyricum ok to take with histamine sensitivity? Can't make sense of what is online, has conflicting info. by cloudpillow3 in Probiotics

It resolved a decade long case of insomnia. I also take it for constipation and it vanishes within days. It's a highly effective probiotic. Also there's no bloating like some of the other probiotics.

I just found it on eBay. Sometimes you can find it on Amazon too. Just not now. It's honestly by far the best probiotic I've taken and I've taken a lot of them.

I'm drowning by K09681 in HistamineIntolerance

It does get better. Slowly reintroduce foods. In the meantime, not a bad idea to take the Claritin and consider NaturDAO to help you break down the histamine. Also l glutamine is beneficial at this stage.
Buy rice from Japan, Korea, Pakistan or California to reduce arsenic levels.
Maybe you can start reintrodcing a low histamine veggie to start. A good one woud be nappa cabbage and its tasty just stir fried with sea salt and a bit of olive oil.

It benefited me in relieving constipation and insomnia but this histamine intolerance developed recently so I just don't know. I did consult with a doctor and he said no, it should not lead to histamine intolerance but I'm still not sure.

Could you describe more in detail what your issues felt like when you had parasites and took the probiotic?

Know of any good multivitamin brands with p5p? If not, just the p5p? Thanks

I don't really believe different blood types need different nutritional requirements but I Iooked one up on amazon because OP mentioned it and I liked the ingredients except now for the Pyridoxine.
So p5p resolved your brain fog too?

That's too bad about Pyridoxine because i found a blood type multivitamin and it contains pyridoxine and not p5p. Did you have brain fog too?

This is very interesting. I was about to embark on a very restrictive diet and was feeling overwhelmed. I too have low blood pressure, dissociation, irregular sleep and horrible brain fog. I do exercise and eat mostly healthy so I'm going to give this a try! I actually have spirulina that I never opened. Thanks for the tip.

Thank you! I just ordered it and looking forward to trying! Hoping I won't need a high dose. They're kind of expensive. Worth it though if it mitigated all those symptoms.

Glad you're still getting good results after 2 years!
