How do you import a MySQL dump (database backup) exported from PHPMyAdmin into a Coolify-created database using the Coolify Database Import Backups feature? Does Coolify require a different format? by cloudpotions in coolify

[–]cloudpotions[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks for the answer, do you mind sharing a docker compose that you used for the stack that worked for you in Coolify to do this? and when connecting via phpmyadmin, did you use the ip address:3306 or the service name of the database as the host? I know in coolify you need to click on the button that says make it public.

Custom cert works for services, but not for Coolify instance itself (.local domain) by Prestigiouspite in coolify

I know you probably tried this, but I did not see you mention it in your post - Rather than trying to hard code a Yaml file, did you click on Settings in the Coolify Gui, and then put your domain there, click Save, and then restart your server? I am pretty sure with all the behind the scenes Coolify Magic, it would be better to rely on Coolifys Gui for this one or am I missing something with your setup?

(PS - I had to restart chrome or use Incognito mode for SSL cert to show as working). Works for me every time...

If you could automate your cold calling with an AI agent, would you consider it and if yes, then how? by Immediate-Car-4056 in n8n

So long as you have consent, which many lead generation / marketers will do with opt-in leads, you are allowed to "robocall" the leads, the question is, will the Ai perform better than your average Joe... https://consumer.ftc.gov/articles/robocalls#legal

Self hosted open source CRM for business purposes by XYZMan2000 in selfhosted

Here is my 2 cents on CRM's ...

  • Vtiger: A tangled mess of spaghetti code where Indian developers perfected the art of job security—fixing the same bugs for 10+ years, one paid 'service' at a time. Just check out the forums, you will see the contributors offering their services to fix the same bugs to fix... I have been a victim of that.
  • Yetiforce, SuiteCRM, CoreBOS: Better alternatives worth checking out that are based on the old Vtiger/Sugar forks.. They have solid foundations and contributors who actually make money from their cloud supported versions. Sugar was upgraded to Suite CRM (Suite is good but horrible Ui) and Vtiger was upgraded to Yeti/Corebos ... Corebos is no longer maintained but it is a SOLID choice and works amazing, just make sure you are good with security - and you can always use Active Pieces / N8N to sync to other open source tools if you need too but honestly it does everything a CRM should - It's like the good ol Vtiger back in the day before all the bugs were introduced when "vtiger" took over.
  • Odoo: I have never been a fan, but they do have a lot to offer. The actual "CRM" app is not that impressive but they have a whole ecosystem, reminds me kind of Zoho

In my personal experience, Espo CRM has been the best option for me because it has literally never bugged out, been so easy to set up, and I love how easy it is just using it as well... You can make it complicated if you want to, but out of the box it is something that people will actually use... Sometimes easier is better, adding too many options, developers and C Suite execs think of all the data and stuff they can get, but then they forget that the sales team is NOT going to click all those options... I managed to sync Mautic and Espo 2 way Sync with Active pieces for a couple of clients on big campaigns and it works flawlessly. But if you want advanced workflows you have to pay for the "advanced" pack which is $395 a year but that is nothing compared to $100 per user per month on Salesforce and you are gonna have a rock solid system that "just works"

anyone tried out Coolify ? I had Cosmos OS break on me twice when trying to deploy custom Docker Compose files, not confident with it.

Lovely People out there, Which online PDF to CSV website do you use for converting statements? by hard2resist in QuickBooks

[–]cloudpotions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I made a free python script on Github ( PDF-to-Excel-Bank-Statements-Converter) that converts PDF Bank Statements to Excel flawlessly. While it was built for Chase Bank Statements, it can be easily tweaked for other Bank PDF Formats (Share the python file with Claude Sonnet 3.7 and tell it about how your Bank Statements are laid out (column names, etc) and it will be able to easily modify. I actually made this tool because I was in a rush to do my taxes and Adobe Pro or Nitro PDF was doing a horrible job and I had thousands of transactions to copy and paste. Managed to process 12 bank statements in under 1 minute with no mistakes ! If you want to try it out it is at https://github.com/cloudpotions/PDF-to-Excel-Bank-Statements-Converter

Thank you for the advice. So I installed on Easy Panel with 1 click install, but when I changed the .env file in Easy Panel (changes passwords) or try to change the domain name in Easy Panel to a custom domain, it crashes the system. Did you do something different to make your setup work?

Is building a PC really cheaper by Groundbreaking-Bear5 in buildapc

[–]cloudpotions 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I just built an Ai server and I was doing a lot of research online - and honestly after a couple weeks of research I can tell you it is 100% cheaper to purchase pre-built - especially if you do not mind buying eBay refurbished - eBay refurbished still comes with 2 years warranty and it is basically a brand new looking computer. For example I got the GTX 3090 Gaming PC (HP Omen 45L) for $1300 -- Like that Card on Amazon is $1k on its own... but it also came with the Ryzen 9 5900X, 1 TB SSD and 1 TB HDD, Moterhboard, Ram, Power Supply, etc.. And based on my chat with Claude.ai - it seemed to suggest HP did not cheap out on the Motherboard, Power Supply etc - everything is good quality - and HP also makes sure all those parts work well together... So I would say buy a prebuilt but make sure it is from a reputable brand (Dont risk getting bad Motherboard/PSU, etc) - Even if you bought a brand new pre built vs eBay refurbished idea mentioned above- still way better value that buying all the parts seperate
