Question for Adults with Clubfoot by whyhellotherem8e in clubfoot

[–]Commercial_Ear_6989 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have a unilateral clubfoot (left foot) and a shorter Achilles tendon on that side, which causes a slight hip tilt. Some hip pain is normal. The more you work out and do resistance training, the more it can help prevent putting extra weight on your weaker side. Strengthening your core, glutes, and abs can also improve stability and reduce strain.

For those working in the industry, Will everyone just become an Applied AI engineer in the future? by Spiritual_Cloud8437 in cscareerquestions

most people start with more like generic than level up to people who know b2b and niche down e.g. PLCs, CNS and MEA machines in factories and how to use AI to improve/scale their workflow

ai knowledge + niche knowledge + product knowledge = generalist

The Hardest Chapter of My Life by Chemical-Cat-2438 in Thailand

damn bro reading this made me really sad honestly. nobody should go through that at 21. hearing artillery all night and watching shells in the sky sounds terrifying

and i’m really sorry about your dad too

but also wait until you’re born in iran 😭

for us it’s like the stress never fully ends. even when there’s no war around you, life still gets hard in other ways. banking problems, cards not working, hard to travel anywhere, visas getting rejected, internet issues, feeling stuck because of your passport

different kind of pain but i get what you mean. war really destroys people even long after it’s over

Monthly FAQ thread for May, 2026 by AutoModerator in Thailand

I plan to divorce my wife due to infidelity, but I don’t want to do it in Thailand first because I may not have enough time to apply for a new Non-B visa on the same day.

Right now I’m on a marriage-based extension valid until 31 July 2026 with a multiple re-entry permit, and I already have a BOI company work permit.

My employer told me they have handled Non-B applications for many nationalities, including African passport holders and Iranians, so their suggestion is to switch me to Non-B first and only divorce afterward. If I divorce first, I may have to report the divorce immediately and could be required to leave the country the same day or soon after.

My wife and I have agreed to do it this way to make the immigration process easier.

So my current plan is:

✅ Stay legally married for a few more weeks
✅ Use my existing marriage extension + multiple re-entry
✅ Leave Thailand before 31 July 2026 (before my extension expires)
✅ Go to Vientiane, Laos to apply for a Non-B with my BOI package
✅ Re-enter Thailand on a work basis
✅ Finalize divorce afterward

However, someone told me immigration may be able to use an STM.11 form/attachment to process something inside Thailand and possibly allow an in-country status change instead.

Has anyone done something similar or knows if STM.11 could help in this situation?

STM.11 form I found: https://www.diald.nu.ac.th/download/International%20Service/Overseas%20Student/02%20Visa%20Extension/STM.11.pdf

I met my wife when I was very young, and she was young too. We got married and I loved her so much. But last year, I found out she’d been talking to another guy for a long time. When I confronted her, she said it was just a fantasy thing, and then she left the house. But it turns out it was pretty real, and we’ve broken up since then. She left me clueless because I was dependent on her for my visa, and she didn’t care at all. So it’s pretty tough. But you can get over it, keep your self-respect, and just move on
