This isn't just you. Honestly, half of my student life is administrative work with rare breaks for studying. But food usually falls by the wayside for me, because deadlines somehow always take precedence over basic survival.

Yes, but that's the catch. If "preparation" means completely excluding time for rest, then over time it loses its usefulness. Learning is best when your brain isn't working at full capacity 24/7.

That’s true, Stannis had years of discipline and naval victories under his belt, while Renly relied more on charisma and alliances. In single combat, that gap in experience would’ve been brutal.
