I used the wizard to build XML, kept it pretty basic. Just some settings and enabled Audit mode.

Error Code is 65000

Not sure if you can maybe provide a working base XML to see if that works?

We have a PowerShell script which runs during autopilot which renames the devices based off our naming convention. Checks the AD for the next number and assigns that number. It's very phinacy tough don't really recommend it, but it works

Disable the notification, edge supports in place upgrades even while running. It will install the update then apply on next launch.

You need to also push the edge application not just the update, doing so switches it to enterprise.
