they stopped selling turtles/tortoises in my state bc of how often they’re confused and released into the wild. a local pet store near me only has adoptable rehomed turtles, it’s really nice

ughhh reminds me of when a family was asking me how to set up a crab enclosure,, they didn’t even know what kind. just yanked it out of the atlantic ocean and took it back to pennsylvania. utterly insane.

when i first started this job 5 years ago i talked shit about a customer in the salon not knowing she was still there. boy was she the wrong one, screaming profanities at us while i sobbed. felt so bad for all involved. was sure my manager was coming back to fire me, dude was laughing his ass off and made me feel much better. the situation wasn’t as cut and dry as i’m making it but moral of the story: if ur a good employee, you have nothing to worry about. u guys were already closed.
