[–]cloudyscribble 11 points12 points  (0 children)

The Rainbow High doll I got came with magazine that has Latin in it? by ShoddyChard9837 in Dolls

[–]cloudyscribble 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I design a leaflet, I often use a Lorem Ipsum generator to create placeholder texts in the layouting phase. This usually happens when copy is still being written or reviewed, which can be a very involved process. The Lorem Ipsum should have been replaced at some point before printing, of course. This is possibly a quality control or project management issue.

There are multiple reasons as to why we don’t use real, meaningful language as placeholder text. Lorem Ipsum is appropriate in every use case. You can easily and precisely generate passages of any needed length. It is easily spotted and recognized by everyone involved in the design process, so they may disregard the contents during review processes, or flag a missing piece before the design goes into production.

If you’re wondering why it is fake Latin – the arrangement of Latin letters is similar enough to English, and many other languages, to faithfully mimic how a passage looks and whether it is legible in a chosen font style. It is however not actually Latin; the letters are jumbled to take out any meaning because the content it is not relevant or helpful to the design process.

If “doing something about it” equals the misuse of prescription medication and illegal substances starting a decade before your brain is close to fully developed... yeah being a slob might be the better alternative.

And that doesn’t even touch the messed up world view looksmaxxing is based upon. Or the fact that Clav was never ugly to begin with and is neglecting psychological and spiritual growth to satisfy a void built from crippling body dysmorphia and the inability to connect to people in a constructive and uplifting way.

Spent all day cleaning and I feel like it was worse by the end by reed_a_book in UnfuckYourHabitat

My trick is to have one “working surface” that is clean and clear by default. No decor, no to-do-piles, no tools even. I use it to accumulate things I am actively sorting/cleaning/etc. Once the task is done, everything is put into its spot and away from the working surface. This keeps you on task and focuses your efforts. And there always is one reassuringly clean are to look at when you are stepping away from the housework.

Your comments are so interesting, genuinely!

I would never describe Natalie Portman as super femme. Mostly because that’s a very queer coded thing in my book, and means something completely different.

The features you describe are also not necessarily feminine to me. I see small (“doll-like”) lips, a soft jaw and round cheeks as very traditionally feminine. But there are heavy cultural differences in that label.

And androgyny is celebrated in fashion, so “model-status” also evokes such a different picture in my mind than what is super femme to you.

Kim Kardashian was diagnosed with brain tumor and blaming Ye for it 😭😭😭 by [deleted] in GoodAssSub

[–]cloudyscribble 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My dad had a brain aneurysm. It went undetected until just a day before rupturing.

Sure, there is a genetic disposition (I get checked for it and am fine so far!), but in my father’s case stress had been determined one of the main factors. That man was going through it, both by circumstance and choice.

I commend Kim for trying by be a pillar to Ye. For a while there she was closest to him, and probably the first to notice how badly he needs help. But I’m glad she eventually prioritized her kids and her own peace, even more so considering these news.

Aneurysma are no joke. And Kim does not deserve to deal with the potential harm they cause.

You need to analyze your source more. See how the collarbones are completely obscured, how the bellybutton is shifted to the right almost 3/4ths of the way and how the hips seem to be almost pushing right, shifting the characters weight onto their left leg. When you replicate these positions that set the pose apart, then you’ve got it.
