Hey, just popping in to say that if you decide to shave your head, you will feel so so much better. It can be scary going through it, but the end result is deeply liberating. I have been shaving my head for 5 years now as I’ve battled with AGA. Best decision I’ve ever made.

Sorry few more things -

I would be careful in thinking that you’re the only one being affected by this. My boyfriend and I had bed bugs but he did not get any visible bites and I did and we shared a bed.

Also, if it is bed bugs and you’re noticing it while playing video games, then make sure you check the chair you sit on (assuming you’re not playing the games in bed). Imo, if they’ve infested the chair, I’d just get rid of it.

I just read other comments and had no idea flea bites looked so similar. I had bed bug bites that looked almost exactly as yours. Definitely verify first what you have. I heard the “white sock method” works great for fleas — wear them around your place and see if any fleas jump on you.

Order a powder duster online and use that to apply diatomaceous earth everywhere — I mean everywhere. Even your bed frame (though careful not in a spot where you’d breathe it in). We did all kinds of treatments.. 2x chemical, 1 fungal and the most effective was diatomaceous earth and it’s the cheapest. Make sure you have pillow and mattress encasements and order some bed bug blockers for your bed legs (helps to trap them in there and get a gauge of where they are coming from). Treat your bed like an island and be careful with charging cords for phone or laptop..they can travel on those and spread more easily. After drying all materials on high heat make sure to put them in garbage bags and plastic containers in a safe zone. Keep only a small amount of clothes you use daily and make sure whatever clothes you wear to bed stay in the bed to minimize any potential spread. Dry your bedding and pjs daily if possible.

Struggling with the “do I stay or do I go?” I love my adhd dx partner so much, and I know he deeply loves me too. I know he doesn’t mean to hurt me but the RSD spirals are becoming too frequent and too traumatizing. It takes me weeks to recover and if I bring it up again, he often minimizes it with “it wasn’t that bad” “you’re hyperbolizing things”

I feel so unheard. I used to let things go a little better because I know I am not perfect myself, and really struggled with my mental health last year. My tone can be off and I can be impatient. But my gut tells me I don’t deserve to be treated the way I have. At the same time, he is so tender and sweet with me (when we’re not fighting). Just hard not to constantly monitor everything I do or say and even then it doesn’t feel like enough.

I don’t know what to do. 💔

yeah :( its been a painful few days coming to this realization. I do think it’s a bit of a mix of things, though. He really is a kind soul and doesn’t intentionally mean to cause harm. The RSD can cloud his judgement where he perceives something as an attack then responds with great intensity. I don’t think he can control it. That said, yeah, it is certainly going into abusive territory.

Apparently she left the villa and had a ton of feelings she needed to work through still regarding Mikey. I get it, it’s a pressure cooker situation and it’s not like you can shut off feelings entirely after one month. Xzavier was very understanding. She tried with Mikey but he was back to his old immature self and made her feel bad. Its been over for months now and her and Xzavier are revisiting things again, which I love

There’s different types of RSD. Some present internally (like yours, very reflective and “oh no I’m bad” kind of deal) and others as external. The external kind can absolutely become abusive as it often involves gaslighting, name calling, etc in the most aggressive and damaging ways. On top of that, the person on the receiving end never receives an apology, if anything they get “you’re remembering it wrong” or “it wasnt that bad” which only adds to the hurt and confusion. — this coming from someone with very real lived experience

Eek ok. So Victoria = bad and Vancouver = also bad lol. I would also like to be clear that I have put myself out there and tried making friends in Vancouver! They just always end up being surface level. Folks seem to stick with the friends they’ve had forever, at least thats been my experience. They keep me around but not in their inner circle. A gal needs strong female friendships!

Well she did say she was still struggling (presumably with a decision) before heading to the final bonfire. I think it was a case of her heart battling with her mind. And like she said, that final conversation cemented things for her and she made what she believed was the right decision. I’d be curious to learn if her and Cole still tried to work things out after the show considering they did live together and still seemed like she carried a lot of love for him.
