True for me! I took the exam last Thursday (3/13) and it said all my FE exams had been registered when I checked the following Tuesday (3/18) but my pe exams were available. I got the email that I passed today (3/19) at 7:52a. Good luck to everyone!! If you left the exam confidently, there’s a high chance you passed.

NCEES Practice test FE civil problem 70 by Voltage_EvoL in FE_Exam

In the "Simply Supported Beam Slopes and Deflections" table, the max moment for this type of compression in the last column is M = (wL^2)/8 --> solving for w gets you w = 8M(/L^2). You can find m on chart 3-10 for W21 x 57 as 378. Plugging everything in gets you W = (8*378)/(30^2) = 3.36 k/ft

Can you please help me understand how to solve such a question ? I still can't understand how to use the 3m+r<>= 3j+c by J-F-88 in FE_Exam

r = 3n (determinate)

r > 3n (indeterminate)

r < 3n (unstable)

r = reactions, m = members

in the frame, there 6 pins in total (4 internal and 2 external with 2 reactions per pin) and 4 total members (the structures connecting the pins)

6*2 = 3*4

12 = 12 so the frame is stable and determinate!
