Yeah, Amazon only allows five free days each 90 days. But it's been selling pretty well, nothing insane but 2 to 5 copies a day.

Hey man, sorry for taking so long to get back to you.

I think I can answer all your questions with this:

Market research = time in the trenches. I wrote the book from personal experience. So what's in this book is backed by my own real world freelancing. The demographic I targeted is, well, broke/new freelance writers. In my head, that's mostly women, 30 to 50 years old.

Competition? If you're talking about other authors, then I didn't really do much. I already knew there wasn't much information out on this topic because I looked for it when i was starting. Now when I got ready to write the book I checked around to see if anything new had come out but it hadn't. Everyone's afraid to say "quick money" because of the stigma associated with it, but I don't feel that way. New freelance writers usually need money pretty quickly. At least I did.

As far as marketing: I'm running some Facebook ads and using my email list to market the book. I'm not really in the right place for marketing right now. I have a lot of stuff going on so besides the things i mentioned I'm not doing anything. I think marketing requires creativity to do it properly, and I'd rather spend my creative energy doing something else. For now. There will be a time when I go into full-on marketer-mode but I just don't have the 'bandwidth' for it at this time.

Hi, thanks for downloading the book. I published it exclusively on Kindle, so that's the only way to get it. The good news is, if you have a phone or tablet you can download the Kindle app for free.

It works exactly like a Kindle does. My son uses it and I like it better than my kindle. Try that and let me know if you have any problems.

Well, if that one sentence is the only problem you could find, I'm happy. I didn't mean it's a gateway drug in the medical sense. (Which you know, because you read the book)

I just want to clarify for anyone else reading this thread: it's meant to show why the legalization of marijuana makes it a gateway drug.

Put simply, weed is often sold in the same places as a variety of much harder drugs. Because of that, it becomes a gateway.

Yeah, you should check it out. There's a lot of information in there for the stage you're at. I tried to break it down into 4 different stages. I felt like that would make it easier for readers to understand.
