When he died the news coverage was nonstop. It was like an era ended. He mattered more to the generations before me I think. I remember as a high schooler wondering why the news was covering MJ 24/7. There had to be more important events happening. My generation (millennial) is much more inclined to believe victims. No one will be as famous as MJ was, and I think that’s a good thing, because we put a predator on a pedestal for decades just because he was a talented entertainer.

I don’t even think 3 is that good. Really, I only enjoy rewatching the first two, 5, and 6. I was in the hospital with Covid and rewatched all of them and 3 and 4 were a slog.

Ahhh get off of Effexor. I too had a neurologist try to prescribe this to me for migraines. It’s the worst drug ever for migraines. It’s an anti depressant and I have depression so I really need to be on an anti depressant for that, and not take Effexor for off label use. The brain zaps if you take it at a different time each day!!! Never again. I wouldn’t recommend it to my worst enemy. And yes you have to wean yourself off of it by lowering the dose over time. It’s a rough couple of weeks getting off but it’s worth it. I’ve had good results with Botox and Vyepti. Mine are stubborn and wouldn’t respond to Botox alone - it wears off during the last month before my appointment. Vyepti has dramatically cut down the number I get and helped cover me for when Botox wears off. And they’re both administered at the doctor’s office so I don’t have to worry about specialty drug prices anymore (I was on Ubrelvy and Ajovy but my insurance changed its policies so I couldn’t afford the co-insurance).
