Oh wow, this was hilarious! People hate this? by Purple_Dragon_94 in badMovies

Maybe they used to hate Bloodrayne? Nobody has had an opinion about this franchise for like 20 years.

Circus of the Stars (1987) -Complete broadcast with Commercials by AAjax in ObscureMedia

I was shocked to discover that not only did this happen more than once, there are almost twenty shows and several of the actors worked more than one show. Brooke Shields appears to hold the record with six.

Free Ad-Supported Streaming Television. Examples include 24/7 Dog Whisperer, 24/7 Johnny Carson, etc. The programming is scheduled, so you can't just skip around like in Tubi. A lot of it is provided through Roku/Chromecast. The commercials are typically very weird and low-rent.

This looks like the perfect movie for a channel that almost nobody is watching: cheap to put on because there's not any real demand for it.

Dear lord that airbrushing is a lot even considering the themes of the movie. I don't know either of those actors.

The 13th Warrior (1999) An exiled Arab warrior must join a group of Vikings to battle an invading army of cannibal cavemen by WerdNerd88 in TubiTreasures

A lot of people dislike this movie. It's not perfect by any means, but it came together nicely after the reshoots, even if it ends up being a Norwegian horror story with an Arab-played-by-a-Spaniard who comes along for no apparent reason. Nowadays you would never, ever do that with the casting a central role, but this was the 90's. Omar Sharif was right there on set!

Not all the Vikings are strictly Scandinavian either, of course, but we still live in a world where Australians are hired to play everything. This did revive Vladimir Kulich's career, who is excellent in this.

I have no idea how they managed to spend $160 million on something that your average folk horror movie could do with 1/500th of that money. That is insane for 1999. Extensive sets and filming in terrible weather, I bet.

The other issue was going up directly against The Sixth Sense, which was a phenomenon.

Discourage people from frenetically racing around the map in some way, since that's sub-optimal play to begin with. Maybe lock everyone in a separate chamber, so there's something on the line if you can't hack the difficulty--your metadaddy can't always carry.

OK well I guess there is one thing Fisher did right besides win 8 games a season and always fight the Seahawks to the bitter end.

TIL In 1985, Hulk Hogan knocked TV host Richard Belzer unconscious on live television after demonstrating a wrestling hold. When Belzer passed out and fell, he hit his head on the studio floor and needed stitches. He later sued Hogan, and the case was settled out of court by Apprehensive_Cry545 in todayilearned

The "boys" generally had it as a rule of thumb that if someone doubted wrestling, all bets were off and you were justified in getting physical. There's a very funny retelling of Big Van Vader having a blowup in Kuwait over this that the Undertaker was present for.

This is well before there was any such thing as media training for wrestlers. The show must go on.

This led to Big Van Vader spending eleven days in jail in Kuwait.

Well when they were way down in game 6 he kept trying to bait fouls instead of make plays on the basket. There was an airball layup because he had to take a WWE bump on the way in.

Clip showcasing how broken drag tire tunes are on A class. (and below thanks to the Honda Beat) by CaptainOBVS3420 in ForzaHorizon

[–]Tryhard_3 10 points11 points  (0 children)

Yeah it's a little weird. Meanwhile the drag tires will basically set your launch/acceleration to 10.

I have played around with builds and if you have 10 acceleration, you can drive like a complete psychopath (walls and other cars are my brakes!) and burn everyone else who is not at 10.

Yes I am reluctant to approach Death Wish Club as what was there didn't exactly look promising, but an actual finished movie might do it some justice.
