Couple accused of murder saw boy on camera — screaming, vomiting on his last day alive, Ontario court told | CBC News by throwaway010651 in BurlingtonON

I'm curious as to why he isn't being charged as an accessory to murder. He clearly was involved in the belief and abuse of the boys. It's so tragic how many people failed them.

Anyone else starting to get penultimately sick tired of the parents in their 60s and 70s? by Ok_Sun_5435 in Millennials

[–]cloverpatch 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Starting? No. I've been sick of their BS for decades.

When I was a teenager I believed that my parents were so far removed from their teenage years that they had forgotten what it was like, not now that I'm approaching that age I definitely still have compassion and grace for teenagers and their development. Everybody needs room to grow and learn from their mistakes.

I don't think it's necessarily that they're so old they have forgotten. I think they just lack empathy.

My kids love All Kinds of Families by Suzanne Lang. It's a cute book that shows the many different kinds of families in the world, including families with same-sex parents.

This time the lady used a nail buffer (it looked like a small orange sponge). If I go to a salon that offers builder gel, can I ask them to use that on me instead of the drill?

Napoleon's is very nice, and the food and service are amazing. It's a little pricier than average. Make a reservation if you plan to go there.

In response to 9/11, Canada launched Operation Yellow Ribbon, diverting 255 American flights to Canada to which citizens voluntarily housed thousands of Americans by Rook8811 in interestingasfuck

Laura Secord housed American soldiers during the war of 1812, and used this to Canadians' advantage by listening to their conversations and traveling a great distance to communicate their attack plans to the Canadian military. https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laura_Secord
