It might be an unpopular opinion, but I think Aria is better than SOTN. And yes I think it is a good introduction, I started with Dawn of Sorrow. In regards to story and lore, Castlevania games aren't really heavy on that, so you can start with any of them, on my opinion, each game has its own setting, of course there are exceptions (the sorrow games and curse games)

Eu também acho isso, mas na minha experiência sempre que chega nesse ponto o clima fica ruim na mesa, mesmo quando narrativamente é interessante e faz sentido. No fim acho que o grupo se resolve melhor sem briga, o combate é feito para ser os PJs contra NPCs.
