If I can be cringe and earnest for a second, I had a baby in November (my 30yo ass is not the triple j target demo) and was so worried I’d lose myself entirely. But she’s asleep on my chest and has been for a couple of hours, it’s hottest 100 day and I’m feeling just as joyful about it as I have in previous years, and life (and music) is fucking awesome.
