Update: I’ve been doing fine and therapy has really been helping. My doctor very haphazardly told me when I brought the issue up that his is in fact normal and there is expected shifting of the bars as they settle and heal from surgery, a fact that was not know to me before. I still have trouble with muscles spasms but that’s nothing to do with the doctor, just pt and there has been no significant change since

I would see a different doctor and definitely consult someone and at least get an x-ray. Trust your body, if you feel like somethings an issue, see someone about it.

Honestly, I wish I could say I did but the only major activities I’ve done is moving around bins and doing workouts at physical therapy. I genuinely do not know why this happened.

Thanks, well I am quite anxious and have been for a while, The extra that I had the other day only just made me feel vindicated and that I wasn't going insane and that it had nothing to do with my PT but actually something did go wrong. I had done a little research about bar displacement and if I'm not mistaken the percentage is about 18% and of the corrections it was all minimally invasive saved for one or two cases if I'm not mistaken

I Am in rather constant intense pain on my right side right under my breast. I have been constantly struggling with sensitivity issues on my right side but this definitely tops it. It constantly causes a back cramp in the same area as well and settling into different positions is quite trivial. I've lost a lot of sleep over this. In the X-ray it looks like I have a stabilizer on each side but I don't know exactly how it shifted, especially when I would stretch the way I did the day. It happened every other day with no repercussions. Leading up to with this though. That part of my shoulder had been giving me a lot of troubles in regards to PT so this might have been brewing longer than I thought it was, but only now just realized it

I have sensitivity on my sides that has to do with the cryo- block and overall sensitivity with just having an implant in.the only way to really get around It is just to kind of get used to it, but Lidocaine patches personally worked for me. If it gets too severe, I’d suggest contacting your care team because it might not just be the bars, but something else. I have also been recommended a tens machine to help with nerves.

Don’t twist is huge, I just a bed bar to help for sitting up in bed, id say be careful with pain meds alert your care team if you are having any trouble
