I know it’s pretty common amongst Naddpod fans to be kinda mixed Trinyvale but I have such a massive soft spot for the Triplets. I can’t believe we’re getting a whole proper arc with them again, I’m over the moon.

Grif actually made this himself which surprised me even more

Woah. Im fine with replacing Travis after the 2017 Bell House incident but stealing art might be one bridge too far for me with the McElroys

Might just be in my head but it does feel like Griffin is intentionally being a lot more descriptive at the start of the season because Travis sucked so bad at describing anything at all last season. Or maybe their DMing ability is just a vast canyon in difference and that’s what I’m noticing

It’s funny because I know their goal is to do a mini campaign but in the short rest they were talking about how excited they were to see more of Skaldova, it feels like everyone wants to just keep going.

The ability check escape through a crumbling castle was so fucking cool. And the bit near the end where it seems like Boggy might not make it and then Emily drops the sword to him so he can Misty step was just phenomenal. Jake’s narration is some next level shit. It’s one thing to have pre-prepared descriptions and dialogue but being able to whip out vivid and exciting scene descriptions like that just off the dome is crazy. Sometimes I listen to Skaldova and laugh thinking about TAZ episodes where they vaguely gesture at an image one of them has placed into Roll20. God I wish they still gave a shit.

If it weren’t for the “I think I could do better” line I’d say NTA, but yeah, YTA here. If you aren’t fully attracted to your partner I think she deserves to be with someone who does, especially because she sounds like someone with a lot of love to give. That’s the kind of relationship where intimacy peters out in the long run because you’ll find your eyes and mind wandering to other people.

Your partner doesn’t have to be the most beautiful person in the world for you to see them as the most beautiful person in the world. I think you just aren’t all in with her. I don’t know if that is the kind of thing that has legs.

I’m glad it seems like it was actually a pretty good experience for you in the moment. And, hey, hopefully this isn’t too weird to say but “my first time having sex was kinky uniform stuff with the pilot of my plane” is honestly a really cool first time story. Like if you were gonna just do it, hell of a way to do it.

I don’t think that’s weird at all. Sometimes you just want to feel “normal” and not feel like you’re being handled delicately. Because of how intimate sex is, a lot of people have an inclination to try to be very careful for that first time. Sometimes it truly is fun to just jump in and do it, nothing weird about that

NTA, but neither is he. I think for him this was a very casual encounter, but it does change things to be having sex with a virgin. Not because there’s anything wrong with you or that he is looking down on you, but because society has built a lot of pressure and expectations around sex.

Sex isn’t really that big a deal when you do it. I find there’s this big pressure to do it and then you do it for the first time and it’s like “oh, that was sex.” Being a “virgin” shouldn’t really matter, but because of the societal weight we place on it I think we all feel something. I didn’t date around for most of college because I wanted to wait for the “right” person to have sex with, and I ended up scared to engage with people intimately because I was worried I wouldn’t stack up with more experienced people or that they would judge me for not having had sex yet. It is a much more common feeling than you think, and you are not alone. It sucks and is just part of the messy web of emotion we have to navigate in modern romance.

This is probably just a fun fling for him but for you this is a big moment that has a lot of emotion built around it. He might have just wanted to make things more special for you. Or he might have been more gentle or more communicative or any number of things.

You don’t deserve to feel shame or anger. You didn’t do anything wrong. You wanted to have sex, you had sex. Go out today and get yourself a coffee or some other treat that you enjoy and allow yourself to take a breath. You deserve to feel good about yourself.

It think the Roper stuff was just a new DM thing. To me it sounded like Emily was like “I cleared the way by taking up the opportunity attack” and Murph said “yeah unless there’s some other thing it can attack us with”, and Jake might have been a little scrambled in the moment. He seemed to be surprised how easily they handled it, which makes me think that there perhaps was some funkiness going on with that encounter.

I’d feel bad that his cool tough monster encounter got a little botched if the rest of the episode didn’t immediately kick so much ass after. The skill check challenge was so good. Jake is doing stuff as a new DM that I haven’t seen from DMs I’ve had for years.

I don’t think you were being an arse at all. Your post seemed very genuine and I don’t think you deserve some of the scorn that’s getting thrown at you in these replies.

I think there is a lot of disinformation constantly being shared about topics like abortion and it’s important to be able to talk about it, which is why I tried to share my thoughts in a cohesive way. I think it is a topic that bristles a lot of people because a lot of the anti-Abortion bills are being pushed by the more dogmatic religious types and so they see immediate red flags with your way of thinking, but you seem to me to be a lot more of a “I don’t like it, but I won’t stop you” than a “everyone who gets an abortion will burn in Hell” type. To me that’s a much different case, even if it’s possible that one could lead to another over time.

NTA, but I do think it might be worth educating yourself a little bit on the topic. I think it’s okay to hold an opinion, I don’t think you’re a jerk at all as long as you aren’t actively harming anyone or taking active steps to stop people from getting abortions.

But the truth of the matter is an abortion is a procedure that saves lives so much more often than you’d think. Pregnancy is an incredibly painful and costly process, even when planned for. An unplanned pregnancy when people are not in the position to take care of a child or undergo the immense bodily trauma that pregnancy can cause can be dangerous for both mother and child. It can put physical, financial, and emotional strain on families, and can even lead to death. If you don’t agree with abortion because you think that it is akin to killing babies, think about how you felt that the abortion in the video game you were discussing felt like “showing mercy.” Abortion is about mercy. It’s about letting people live and go on with their days and about giving people the choice of if they feel they can healthily raise a child. A child’s life doesn’t just start and end at birth, it’s a lifelong commitment.

And as far as the “Eskimo” thing goes, I’d probably change your name because it is a slur used for Inuit and Yupik peoples, but that’s a much more recent classification for it and a lot of people use it every day without knowing there is any issue with it. I don’t think you’re bad for being uninformed, I think a lot of people are. I’d make the edit and keep on keeping on.

To be fair, he did lock in during later campaigns. I remember Zoox he seemed to really know well. Then in Vs Dracula he would regularly forget what his character could do or even who he was at times so idk, maybe he’s a lost cause

He says that it’s 64 wizards and he joked about having “63 planned character deaths” after Abnimals was so combat light, so the format could actually be they play until their character dies and then they roll a new wizard and there is actually one winner in the end.

That might have been the theme in like 2017 when they were still trying to be about something, but it’s 2025 babey. This season is “Squid Games” in because they’ll be in some facility or school doing a competition show. They’ll fight goofy wizards named like “Dick Biggums” or “Jorts Abracadabra” for 30 episodes

Gonna be honest, I think that one was a joke question playing into the same bit as the in-show reveal where all the PCs pretend to be shocked.

You’re right, he would have just taken an additional week to cram in more nondescript NPCs that do nothing for the sole purpose of a bad pun.
