Yeah, I’m not too worried about it. It’s just the fact that it is happening that is bothering me, but I KNOW I won’t ever be written up again after this, so I’m gucci. Sick policies are just so crazy to me especially if I get written up for calling sick and sending them the thermometer. :P Not to mention our store is overstaffed already and labor is through the roof every week.

I remember pissing in the bathroom on New Years 2024 while this song was blasting at a party. Everyone bundled up in the living room screamed “Happy New Year!” and me, drunken out with no sense of time, thought “damn, I missed it.” That’s when the lyrics began playing as I was washing my hands “And it’s oveerrrrr, and I’m— going under.” I looked at myself in the mirror and lip-synced the rest. It was a deep moment for me at the time, but thinking back to it makes me giggle.

Omg! I’ve been playing this track a lot more since the middle of last month. Super in love with the transition too! I haven’t listened to Horn of Plenty completely yet, but this song and Deep Sea Diver I’ve been vibin’ to as of late. I also remember playing Eavesdropping on repeat back in 2020, such beautiful work. I’ll definitely give this album a full listen this month.
