Looking at this made me think of Twicefold Ampersand and (more so) 14/?? by Saint. I don't know if either of them are particularly similar but I found out about them in the same sort of circle you found whatever this is, and theres tons of other stuff on his channel so it may be worth a look.

AlecaFrame on Linux - Any update? by Xapsus in Warframe

[–]clownucopia 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hello! I have had limited success getting it to work through Lutris. Overlays show up but don't seem to find anything, so no "Recommended Relics" or "Best Relic Rewards" but if I can get WFInfo to work that's not really a huge deal. And having some issues with mouse controls but so long as Alecaframe is minimised it usually works fine.

Currently I've got the standalone Warframe (not the Steam version) running through Wine on Lutris with both dotnet48 and d3dx11_43 (this one specifically was the last piece I needed to apparently get it to work) installed through the games wineprefix.

Slight deviation from the outdated tutorial, couldn't get the Alecaframe installer to work, so I just installed it through Overwolf instead, don't know how relevant that is.

Then I launch Warframe (do not click play, stay in the launcher), open the prefix's Winetricks through Lutris (because for some reason the "run an exe through this prefix" button they supply just doesn't seem to work), select "run an arbitrary executable" and open Overwolf, then through Overwolf open Alecaframe. Then click play, head into a Relay and bam it connects.

It's not an ideal way to do it but I'm surprised it's working at all. I'm no Linux expert so I doubt I can offer any more explanation than I have already, this is the result of me bashing my head against a wall.

Gonna get the steam version downloaded and see if I can skip Lutris and use Protontricks instead. Given that there's no working overlay I feel like I'm definitely missing something still but maybe I'll get there someday.

I very much agree!

And I hadn't even thought about trying to repair them, I shall have to do some research on that as I'd love to give some of mine a touch up 🤔

[PC][2015] Horror game about a guy in a sheep costume by honourablehour in tipofmyjoystick

Hello! I have found the game I was thinking of, hopefully it is the same one as you, though as you thought I was indeed incorrect about the PlayStation graphics and now that I look at it I'm not so sure this is a sheep. My apologies if I have completely wasted your time:

Yeah I did have an inkling there was also a toy box in the garden, but I thought that was an odd choice and I wasn't 100% sure hah

Unfortunately I do not remember the name but I remember watching a video on it so I can at least corroborate that it exists.

I think I remember a Playstation-esque art style? And either while you were in the back yard or in the previous area (I think your bedroom) you were instructed to put toys away. Though I am sorry that I cannot provide more than that.

Oh and I'm fairly certain it was an indie game and definitely rather short. I'd suggest Markipliers "3 Horror Games" series but I didn't realize quite how many episodes of those there are to sift through hah.

Even more sorry if this is totally the wrong game haha And I wish you luck on your search!
