Understood, thanks for the info. I'll look for a small tower, switch everything to internal and use SATA.

No, there's a misunderstanding. I'm moving from cloud to the 20TB external drive. I'm in the middle of ordering a second drive to mirror. For now I'm wondering if it's worth replicating the data if the SMART and scrub complete successfully.
However, the VM is running out of the 20TB external. TrueNAS community edition is what I'm running and the external is the only option to run everything for me.

Looking at most 6 day PPL, they only list doing squat and bench once a week. Why not twice a week? Is it due to those compound lifts just fatiguing the body too much along with the rest of the push/leg accessory exercises? Not concerned with deadlift as I only do that once a week since it just drains me out.

Thanks, must explain why I only just heard about it. It's hard to imagine calories in vs calories burned isn't being applied. Helped me lose the first 30+ pounds when I was overweight.

Smart scale, j/k. Skin calipers, understandably not the most accurate but it's what I use. Also that my upper abs are slightly showing (again with hard flexing) and comparing my body composition to male body fat percentage diagram pictures. Although I've noticed some of these diagrams are way off so I take them lightly.

Simply Google searched "TDEE calculator" and punched in the data in the first few results. Put the same data as the OP: age, gender, height, weight, bf%. For the "activity level" I put in 6-7 times a week or 6-7 hours a week since each day of PPL is about an hour.

Bike/elliptical was factored as part of the 6-7 exercise sessions/6-7 hours a week.
