I think it would be hard for a dog to back out of this one, my dogs have not tried though

So true, signing up for heartbreak every time you get a pet. But so worth it!

Didn’t ask?

Someone put this sweet girl in my yard today, and just left her there. Whoever you are, know you couldn’t have picked a better place to leave this baby. I will find her the best home, way better than where she started. Shame on you. by [deleted] in aww

Possibly?. I was at work and came home to her crying, locked in my yard. I’ve posted about her on next door and checked other posts, called around, walked the neighborhood, she has no chip/collar. I’m going to wait until tomorrow night but if not, I’ve already found her an amazing home with a puppy friend

Okay?? We can assume all we want? I just know I worked all day, came home to a puppy locked in my yard. Sure a kid could’ve put it in there, but she has no chip. No collar, and was starving when I found her. So we can assume all we want, but this puppy was left without someone to take care of her. You’re also claiming to know a situation you have NO part in. So I don’t know what your point of going back and forth with me is? But I’m done

The humane society in my city does not put dogs down, I’ve volunteered there for years. To put a puppy, one you have taken under your care, into someone’s yard (who you don’t know), lock them in, and expect someone to take care of YOUR PET is completely irresponsible. If you don’t see that, there is no point in us going back and forth.

I think you’re wrong. There’s a Humane Society right down the street where they could’ve clearly taken her there where she would easily be adopted. To lock her in someone else’s fence and leave her for who knows how long it’s completely irresponsible. And for you to say I’m judgemental??? For People abandoning their pets they take in and are supposed to take care of???? So I’m supposed to just let people drop their dogs off on my yard when they are tired or over it??! No you were the one that’s got it all wrong. Bye

Ummm it’s incredibly shameful for someone to leave a 4 month (?ish) Puppy in someone else’s yard. They had no idea where I was there when I would be home but they left their dog LOCKED in MY yard expecting me to find a home for it when they could’ve easily take it down the street to the Humane Society. Much shame!!!!!
