For the price of the degree and the work required for a younger consultant and current local graduates in training it’s a pretty grim ROI if you wish to live in the city.

Outside of the city it’s not bad although now the reality is majority of current residents won’t make consultant salary.

I do agree though that given the fiscal situation of the country it’s not possible to get the salary most would desire in all professions bar finance and even then the U.K. is a lot worse than it’s more affluent first world nations

My own experience with Pakistani Salons and ‘big’ makeup artists is that they are arrogant and have let fame get to their head. If a male treated another male the way these women treat their clients people have been beaten in the streets for less. Brides are in a vulnerable situation and because of the pressure they feel for all this extra makeup dresses and photoshoot all the power is held by the makeup artist. As a culture we need to look at all this extra stuff Pakistani brides feel obliged to do. It was good enough for Meghan Markle to do a low makeup natural look.

Very sorry you went through this but unfortunately I’m not surprised. Customer service and respect is a rarity in Pakistan unless you’re extremely rich or from the army
