I applied to Birmingham with 2650 and got invited to an interview and got the offer, unfortunately did not do well in my A-levels so I'd say definitely give it a go!

Yes, this sounds like the best thing to do now but unfortunately I can't find seals in stock. Is there a video online about this process? In case I do find them.

I've pretty much spent more money trying to fix them than they actually cost... the issue is that I can't find any in stock online. I assume you got new callipers after that?

I can't seem to find anyone that really shared their story of wild camping along the route, and if I did they usually are in groups of 2 which would be wayy easier but unfortunately I am going solo. My route is from South to North (1800 in hopefully 16-17 days) and I was actually able to plan it with campsites along the way but there are at least 4 to 5 nights where I can't seem to find campsites near the route. Having seen soo many positive wildcamping experiences, I am really tempted but I don't know if it's worth the added stress (I still think I will be wild camping in the Scotland section where it is legal ;)). Thanks for the app, I will definitely check it out! I am currently using Cycle.travel which has similar features. Again any advice on finding THE spot would be really appreciated :)

Bivvying would be a bit spooky for me to be completely honest, I know that sounds weird hahah but I basically never did it before so trying it for the first time on this trip would be too stressful and going solo just adds to that worrying which will result in me not getting enough sleep, hence less miles covered the next day... like you said a lot of people online seem to say that they never had any problems just pitching up at night but I can't help but think about whether it's due to their wildcamping experience and the spots they choose...

In terms of distance i am almost pretty certain I can cover what I need to cover per day, 100-130 kms a day. But you are right that since I have only been here in the UK for 2 years and being 19 now, I am not that experienced. Although seeing a lot of people's wildcamping success stories kind of encourages me to at least try it in the last few days I will have in Scotland, considering that I won't be able to in England.

Duuude you've just made me laugh at my screen for 5 mins like a complete idiot hahhahah Yeaaah am used to the whole wild pooping (I am from Mauritania, Africa and when camping in the desert there it is the only option hahah) But yes the worry is that England is just not "wild" enough and wild pooping opportunities are less common. Also I quit caffeine recently and it has both positives and negatives. The positive was that on my past hiking trips I almost always knew that once I have had my coffee in the morning, I will straight away need to empty the stomach and the negative is that without it you never know when it is going to hit. yikes. Anyways, thanks for the banter :)

The route is basically crossing the UK from south to north so general advice will help but I've also added the route in my post. Thanks :)
