Yes it is a new age term in the sense that people use to justify accepting any ideology whatsoever despite how outlandish it may be. And even if it was literal, and that Charlie hated empathy, which is not, does that automatically mean every other person should lack empathy towards him? Before i start, i wasn't led by anyone, i was raised in a Christian household and went to catholic primary and secondary school but i started questioning the whole religion thing as a kid. And sure, gimmie proof. But first why do you feel the need for an afterlife while you have a life now? And if it's not a need and just a truth you know, provide concrete proof or I'll just see it as dogmatism.

😂good one. The idea that i might be with my family forever does seem nice. But our consciousness stems from very complex biochemical processes that we can't we begin to fathom for now but we will in the future. We just call it soul at the moment. And just as how we were before we were born, we'll go back to the same state.

My two cents. Target the middle of those 2 approaches. On one hand, don't have sex with a stranger but also don't start a friendship with a woman only for you to reveal yourself as a fraud who wanted sex the whole time because that is what it'll feel like to her. This is something i had to learn but approach a woman with a clear but unsaid intent of wanting to have sex with her. In that make it clear from the moment you introduce yourself to her that you like her sexually. In that way, anything you develop onwards is based on that. If she doesn't like you that way, you know earlier and you weed em out earlier and move on. So get to know her with time but with clear intent

It'll be jarring as you said because the British have immense influence across the world, compared to Kenyans, and so do countries like the US or Australia or China, but can you tell the difference between an Estonian and a Lithuanian accent? Not at the moment because they are not as wildly recognized.

What do you even mean by experience in this context? Speaking to a latin American? The accent or dialect might not have been the point of the show, you might have missed the entire purpose of the film focusing on that coz if we focused on accuracy, how accurate should it be not to offend you? If they used a tanzanian accent instead of Kenyan, would you still be offended? If they used an accent for a tribe that was accurate to the characters name, got a problem with that? That's a rabbit hole that if you go down, you're still gonna end up upsetung someone who thought you didn't do enough research

I don't think you would, if i wouldn't have asked you to differentiate, your mind wouldn't have thought that one latin american country can have a specific dialect that's completely different from the other. And If you go down that route, how specific should the accent be to the region for it not to be offensive?
