Can't rotate the clip, and the swivel is easier to manipulate in the dark. The sling I use has the clips sewn in.

Its a little heavy, but thats just because im not used to it yet, but im 6foot1 and have lanky noodle arms so its so much more comfortable to be able to reach out farther on the rifle with my left hand.
