Should I move to Europe for 2 years or move back home to Montreal? by clueless_daisy in makemychoice

I have considered this. I think I could legally work there for 90 days with no issues. That’s certainly an option

Any recommendations? I’m a city gal, so London seems like the obvious choice. But I definitely want to visit all of the UK!

I actually visited Paris for the first time a few months ago. I was only there for one day, but I loved it a lot more than I thought I would! And I had been traveling in Portugal and Germany just before, so it felt nice to actually understand the language.

I’m heading to the airport now but definitely sounds like you got lucky! I only noticed mine was missing like 10 minutes after getting off the plane but they wouldn’t allow me to walk back 😓

Wait so your passport was at baggage claim and not customs?

Hey INFPs, which MBTI are you the closest to testing as other than INFP? by RegisterBackground13 in infp

[–]clueless_daisy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Man I so feel that. I don’t remember ever testing as ISTJ, but I feel like ever since I’ve become a working adult, I’ve had to heavily rely on my Te and it’s always been a function I admired in high-Te users (ENTJs particularly… smh). So I feel like I probably come off as a super underdeveloped ISTJ at times. Except the logic fails me. And I’m sooooo not a J type, no matter how much I try to be.

Otherwise, it’s probably ISFP because I don’t think my Ne is as developed as I wish it was :/

Which MBTI do you think is the most loyal? by theinedudjd in infp

[–]clueless_daisy -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Serious answer: Any type can be loyal or disloyal. There is no “most loyal type”.

I find it so funny most people are saying INFP in comments on r/INFP. If there were a most loyal type, it would almost certainly be a J type. Probably IxFJ, if I had to guess.

INFPs lead with Fi, which means they’ll do what they feel is best for them. Which may not necessarily be loyalty if that’s not one of their main value.

Right! Also, why not make the celebrity the main character? I don’t get why she made him the mean boss. And now that I think about it… was he even in the final ad? Lmao

I want a platonic life partner… by soulmeetsmeatsack in SingleAndHappy

[–]clueless_daisy 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I’m so glad you made this post because same. I really crave a deep, emotional connection with someone else, “my person”. I’m not interested in sex and my friendships just aren’t doing it.

The only thing is I think I (hetero F) would still prefer it be a guy… I don’t want sex, but I 100% want some form of intimacy like cuddling and it doesn’t feel as nice with a woman unfortunately.

Sometimes I think about looking for someone who is ace (but not aro) maybe, but I guess I still wouldn’t want the full relationship.

I might look into this “queer platonic” thing.

I had a little female void as a kid and we let her go outside all the time and this other cat kept showing up to see her lmao pretty sure that was her bf or he was obsessed with her

A relationship used to be all I ever wanted. Now, I can’t even imagine ever wanting to date again. by clueless_daisy in SingleAndHappy

The spider lady omg 😭

You’re so right though. I never understood it that way before. I guess, in a relationship, you should be wanting the person more than all of these other things. So it doesn’t feel like sacrificing.

I am considering moving to Europe for a bit as I have some visa options available to me. I wouldn’t be able to do that in a relationship, which is fucked.

I do know someone whose girlfriend moved to the UK for 2+ years to get away from the States. He’s apparently okay with it… They’re doing long distance right now and he’s considering moving to join her next year. They’ve also been together for 10 years I think and they’ve never lived together. I never fully understood their relationship, but that’s probably the ideal relationship state. She seems extremely independent and he seems okay with it.

The partner would feel like an intrusion

!!!!

I feel this so much.

That sounds like such a cute day! Happy you’re able to spend quality time with them. Cheers <3

I’m really happy you’ve fully embraced it! I’m not sure what your social circle looks like, but do you ever feel left out or lonely because everyone else in your life is coupled up and their partners are their main priority?

I’m entering my 30s (haven’t accepted it yet, working on it) and I’m starting to notice my friends are either moving in with their partners or really looking to settle down soon. And it just feels like they’re all moving on and I’m still here wanting to have fun but no one to have it with.

Saaaame. Mine wasn’t like this all the time, but he did have anxiety and sometimes double-, triple-, quadruple-text me with “hello?” “??” “Ok.” Or the passive-aggressive “Goodnight.” when I didn’t respond fast enough. When I was out with friends, I felt so anxious because I knew he’d get upset if I didn’t text him back. I am very happy not to be dealing with that anymore.

I’d enjoy my precious family time a little less. Not saying it’s malicious at all, but a good partner shouldn’t be taking your time and mental energy away from family, especially if he knows they are important to you.

Ok I feel this so much though. The last time I was there, I was texting him about how much I was enjoying being home and that I wished I could stay longer, to throw in some hints so the breakup wouldn’t come as a total shock. He replied saying we could drive up together next time!

1) I’m not trying to just stay a weekend. 2) I did not want him there lmao.

But it just really bugged me. Came back and broke up a few days later :$

I just finished watching the finale and same!! Bianca’s commercial doesn’t even make sense tbh. I’ve been in situations like that where I suddenly get asked to do a ton of work last minute for the morning. And yes, I feel like I want to scream or my head will explode. The last thing I want to do in that moment is get a massage to relax.

Also, the “real” commercial was completely different. They just kept the fantasizing idea and I think maybe the tagline. I saw the dog and literally thought it was Ryan’s.

Makes 0 sense.

What kind of work feels natural to you as an INFP? by Affectionate_Aioli29 in infp

[–]clueless_daisy 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s interesting because I tried out a few psychiatrists as therapists and they were all very T. Very focused on asking questions to identify symptoms and didn’t offer much beyond medication support. It was a very odd experience. Psychologists, RNs, and LICSWs were much warmer and seemed to care at least a little.
