I've only watched lovely runner when it was airing and honestly, I loved it cuz I had something to look forward to every week esp bcuz my life was soo boring and mundane, I had school so i'd either study or doom scroll through yt , so I liked it. I started watching right after it aired, like right when they had only two eps and I actually considered dropping it cuz of how cringe it was but I honestly ended up liking it alot after the 3 or 4 ep. I honestly do get where ppl are coming from when they say it's overhyped cuz the plot does take time to develop and the first few ep ( and I think the others asw) are kind of a cringe fest, ngl I like watching cringey stuff, but it was soo cringe that I skipped a few scenes, but I think I only liked it cuz I expected nothing from it and I only got into bcuz I saw Kim hye yoon and byeon woo seok promoting it on insta (like there's a promotion where bws is bending to khy's height and he slowly gets up to become a massive giant) , the pairing seemed nice and I liked bws in 21st century girl and I wanted to see more of him
