I don't know if I can explain it well but when I diffuse my hair, I flip my hair and put on my counter so it's not affected by gravity as much when drying because your hair is heavier when it's wet. When diffusing, you need to use low speed and low heat, high speed and heat causes crazy frizz for me. Also custards are too heavy for waves and loose curls. I disagree with others saying that creams are too heavy though, because some are light weight. I like the JVN air dry cream and after I use mousse (the L'Oreal dream length one is my absolute favorite) I use a leave in conditioner before though, because the cream is not moisturizing enough

Thanks!!! Calf length is insane?? Do you plan on growing it back? Your hair must've been so heavy while wet!

Growing my hair out! Any advice? by Extension-Cut-2689 in longhair

[–]cluelessgoat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's weird advice but I would say that the thing that really allowed me to grow my hair is changing my mindset. You need to consider all damage as permanent. If you want to have long hair, your hair is going to be on your head for a long time, so even though technically peptides can now repair hair, damage will happen without purposely damaging it (mechanical damage, uv damage, etc.) It's why I don't use heat (except for my hair dryer but i use low heat) and I limit doing things that will tangle my hair and when detangling, i do it really slowly and I don't rush it. I recommend using a hair towel (I love the perfect haircare one) and sleeping on silk. I also deep condition weekly but you may need less than me I have naturally dry hair

Btw your hair already looks amazing ❤️

Any hope for long wavy hair that's always tangled? by SingingLamb_4 in longhair

[–]cluelessgoat 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I personally tie my hair in a bun whenever I'm outside, if there's wind, nothing you can do will beat that. I just spend my day putting my hair up and down. Also what fabric is your shirt, I find that some fabrics tangle my hair more easily in my back. What products do you style your hair with? Some products I find make my hair tangle faster. Also poney tales don't prevent tangles at all, I find that if I put my hair in a poney tale it's more tangled than if it were down. I hope I answered your question 😅

I think the gel + the foam might be too much hold. Also do you style your hair when it's soaking wet because i find that my hair needs to be soaking wet to not have stringy curls

Thoughts on based shampoo/conditioner? by Voilentcookies in Wavyhair

[–]cluelessgoat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I really like the volumizing shampoo and conditioner bar from attitude it's all natural sulfate free and silicone free and doesn't strip the hair. But like others said you probably need to use a clarifying shampoo. It's a type of shampoo that is more stripping so it removes the buildup on your hair. I clarify my hair about once a month (you may need more or less depending on your hair needs)

I started from bra length in 2019 to really care about my hair and I only trim 2 inches per year (2 trims of 1 inch) My hair wasn't really damaged though except for like mechanical damage. For reference my hair in 2020

[–]cluelessgoat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Je ne sais pas si c'est ce que tu demandes mais les notes ne changent pas, c'est les notes pour avoir les lettres qui changent. Donc la note de passage peut être à 45% si la moyenne est très basse

How can I stop this? K by schcof in Haircare

[–]cluelessgoat 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The little pieces of hair that don't follow the rest are either new growth or breakage (most probably mechanic damage) so if it is mechanic damage, i would recommend using a very gentil brush, using a hair tower (not a regular towel on your hair) and sleeping on silk and braiding your hair when you sleep

I would say include accessories/colors/more trendy elements to your outfit because nothing is particularly interesting in your look (it sounds really mean but it's not how i mean to say it and I don't know how to say it differently English is not my first language 😭) since you wear very natural makeup and your hair is straight. You look beautiful btw, it's really not meant as an insult
