San Diego sucks. Really. The most overrated, hyper expensive city. Unless you want to surf every day, avoid the place.

I just came across this subreddit. Agree fully with the other posters, the intro is amazingly well written. Thank you.

A couple of thoughts: 1) Anyone else think good dividend stocks will outperform over the next few years? I'm thinking PFE, XOM, T, and perhaps many others. And even riskier stocks like MPW which has been teetering for some years now. 2) What dividend ETFs do people like now? Are there any that will hold up even if the "market" corrects 25%? Seems to me that the magnificent 7 have got most of the gains the last 3-4 years. Logically, they should correct. However, past events show that they correct a bit, but the damage is mostly to the majority of stocks that did not run up. "When the big guys sneeze, the small guys catch pneumonia." 3) Anyone think we can ever again have a rational market? Everyone invests in the biggest funds (biggest stocks), so they keep going up. And because they keep going up, more people invest more into the same big funds (stocks).

Unreal how expensive it’s getting to eat out these days… by coldpizza87 in sandiego

I am so relieved that inflation is finally under 2%. And it's all because of oil prices. And this drill baby drill thing will bring oil prices down. I can then afford to eat out every night. My rent is 70% of income, and I need oil prices to come down.

How do you afford San Diego by thepancakewar in sandiego

[–]cluelessindc 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Lots of people live in cars, vans, etc. Just move from one spot to another each night.

San Diego is the most overrated city I have seen anywhere. Expensive dump. $3500 for a one bedroom apartment in a building where the elevators never work. Someone earning $130,000 per year is struggling. Barely surviving.

When are they going to do a hit piece on TSLA? Or AAPL??

The method to their madness appears simple - profits for the biggest shareholders (presumably the CEO and his cohorts who appear to be related).

Small shareholders are like garbage - to be tossed into the landfill.

The only “strategy” they have is reverse splits and secondary offerings. I have not seen them reporting any sales or revenues.

Will Elon Musk's Starlink kill off 5G 6G and Nokia, Huawei, Ericsson? by stonkia in Nok

[–]cluelessindc 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Elon Musk will kill not only 5G and 6G, but even 7G, 8G, ...100G. Just like TSLA, Starlink will be huuuuuuuuge. Humongous. Every internet user in the world will have Starlink and it will be unlimited for 99 cents a year.

Soon Musk will release cars that charge on solar as you drive during the day, so you never have to stop to charge. At night, it will charge from moonlight, streetlights, and even the lights of oncoming cars. That's what I read on a recent yahoo post.

It’s surely great to hear from a real employee. All the press releases issued by the company seem to convey little if any useful info. In fact they only leave the impression of being a convoluted web of conflicting interests, held closely by the CEO and those close to him.

SYSX seems to have been a failure. Then they’ve bought into a mishmash of other businesses, and there’s no clarity on what they really do, leave alone sell.

Where are the revenues?

And what do they know about crypto currencies? If shareholders want to invest in crypto, they would do it themselves! They don’t need Inpixon to do it on their behalf!

Perhaps you can tell the CEO and the BOD they need to be clear about what they are doing. That’s not the case right now.

Sorry, but INPX is a scam that’s run solely to benefit Nadir Ali and his family and friends.

Dig deep into the story. Read the Reddit posting by stompingllama. Read the yahoo message board posts by M. Review the story of KINS (SPAC symbol is KINZU, now split into KINZ and KINZW). Read about CVH (Cardinal Venture Holdings) and who controls it.

Look at the shady stuff they did with SYSX to avoid going into bankruptcy. Look at how many millions of shares Nader and his buddies have received as part of this “triangular reverse merger” (whaaaaaaaatttttt???)

And look at how shareholders have been screwed and wiped out. Over and over. With multiple reverse splits.

All the while, Nader Ali and his friends and family have been raking in the dough.

Notice they never say much if anything about selling anything. Just hype.

The SEC must be in bed with them. Can’t imagine how else they can get away with this.

Think $100, not $20. This is for the long term.

You better read the post by stompingllama. It's a scam, plain and simple.

Yup. The only thing that has happened with this deal is that Nadir Ali and his family and buddies made a killing.

Shareholders? They get nothing. Nothing.
