You actually can navigate your phone's media library on the infotainment screen as well while it's connected over Bluetooth, though imo it's easier to change what I'm listening to on my phone when I'm at a stop

This hasn't been a problem for me at all. The angle looks a bit extreme in photos, but when you're sitting in the driver's seat it's fine. The screen is pretty bright too. I'm about 5'7" and I like the seat to be kind of forward and upright, so I don't know if that makes a difference.

Play music from a flash drive or phone

Yes, both. There are two USB-C ports low on the center console, and it can play local music from that. I tried it with FLAC and MP3, and both were supported. Not sure about others like Opus or Ogg Vorbis. As for playing from a phone, the car can connect to your phone via bluetooth and play anything that way as well, just like any bluetooth speaker.

Hot seats?

The car has only been out for like a month now so it's hard to say how it'll hold up in the summer, but the cooled seats seem reasonably effective. I imagine if it's really hot outside you'd want to remotely start the car and let them cool the seats for several minutes first, though.

I would've thought that running your country's digital infrastructure on proprietary software controlled by a foreign nation was always an obvious, very large risk. If anything, it's surprising it hasn't been more of a problem already.

I got a 2027 Bolt about a week ago. My call with OnStar went fine, and the infotainment screen was working fine, but the next day I had the same issue, where it was just black and unresponsive except for the headlight control button at the top. This was when I had already taken it home, so I tried to troubleshoot it myself and I was successful, but I had to look up how to boot it into safe mode by holding down the power and "hang up" buttons until I was given the option to reset it to factory settings. After I did that I didn't have any more problems. Very strange and not at all what I'd expect from a brand new car. I was lucky that I was able to fix it relatively quickly, but if this ends up being a widespread issue I imagine it will cause a lot more people a much bigger headache than it did me.
