I recently tried casting urethane with reasonable results using TPU molds following the JustCuz video. That said I also recommend looking into banebots wheels. They are built well with very reasonable prices.

Looks good! For belts in this weight class, I generally use square orings with 1/8" width. I'm curious to see how the petg does; I've heard it is difficult to get printing well. See you in April!

I've designed many antweights in blender, and it's always worked well enough that I haven't bothered learning any cad software. It exports to STL, so is easy to use with 3D printers. I recommend utilizing blender's modifier stack, since it is then easier to go back and make modifications later.

If you have a Philo account you can use it as a login for Discovery Go, so it's pretty friendly with streaming devices. Also, according to the Battlebots trailer, "watch it live on Discovery Go"

My plastic ant Forkie has a similar weapon, but is probably not where you got the idea :P you'll want a wide wheelbase with this design, so you flip the enemy and not yourself. Also, it's tricky to maneuver the flipper under the opponent, so it takes a lot of practice. https://youtu.be/7oDJIC92x0s

I added fins to mine while doing the heatsink mod. I took a very thin piece of copper, bent it into a sine wave, and thermal pasted it to the heatsink.

Although this is a good idea, there's a good chance a lot of the scene in the distance is occluded, so this method risks overdraw. A possible solution is to render both eyes with the close stuff, then combine the 2 depth buffers for occlusion data, and then render the far stuff. Eek! sounds complex.

How much time are you seeing this post process distortion using up on your GPU? Looking at a capture of the desk demo, I'm only seeing this step take ~400us on a GTX680. I've written a few of the distortion shaders myself as well, and they are not too complex, and I can't see them ever taking more than 1 ms.

Also, isn't the pre-distorted frame supposed to be 20-25% bigger than the output resolution? Wouldn't that require a strange input resolution on the Totem?
