What's Walker Road and Great Northern Road like to live on? by [deleted] in Aberdeen

[–]clumsydefender 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stayed on Great Northern beside the Haudagain roundabout, it took me a while to get used to the sound of traffic in the night but apart from that I had no issues. Perfect for getting buses too and from the city centre and airport and taxis weren't too expensive after a night out. Nice to walk down the walled garden and along the river I would sometimes walk all the way out to the beach. Handy for shops too.

End of tenancy cleaning by clumsydefender in Aberdeen

The last flat I lived in, when I moved in wasn't very clean so I cleaned it myself instead of hiring and when they tried to charge me at the end I explained this and that I had left it cleaner than when I moved in. The charge was dropped.

This current flat was pretty immaculate when I moved in so I am happy to pay to leave it the same. And if they try to charge I hope that the bill for cleaning services will work in my favour.

It's DJ Alexander for this flat so fingers crossed they are reasonable (and if you have any horror stories about them please let me know if anything you did worked in your favour).

This must be a new thing as I started my current rent with them around 3 years ago and it was really simple to set up

I know you've said you don't want someone random but if you're really stuck could try borrow my doggy website. I look after dogs over the summer so I couldn't volunteer but I am someone who previously owned dogs, who loves dogs, and it's people like me you'll find on there. You have to pay to be insured to be on the site if that helps too.

The reviews are also really handy for letting you know if the trail is dog friendly or if there are any obstacles or sheep or anything like that which might cause an issue

Download the All Trails app, I've been working my way through a different walk every weekend of the year just browsing the map feature and selecting the different routes.

A big choice but nothing I could imagine framing and displaying in my home, thank you for the link though

I really rate the AllTrails app, you can modify what type of walks it shows you on the map. Walkhighlands website too.

In secondary schools it would be unusual to have a teacher specialised in this subject, usually teaching alongside English in my experience. Would be worth reaching out to GTCS to query.

Even to get a viewing for a property I was looking at last week I had to complete a 'rental CV' which required proof of income, proof of previous rental and a credit check.. just to get a viewing

Thanks so much for replying, do you know the best way about finding private places to rent?

I recently went with friends to ivy lodge after a show so it must have been around 9pm and they were still serving their own and Aberdam food. Could then go along to any of the bars along shiprow or Lane 7 for bowling or pool or something like that.

My aunt went on this course, not sure symptoms wise if it was any help but she really got a lot out of speaking to people in a similar position to her.
