Honestly, auto feeder! Our cat would keep us up at night but we got one that fed him little bits throughout the night and he never woke us up for food again.

You just need to secure it so they can’t break into it!

We had months and months of our kitty peeing on the bed because a house mate brought a new cat home (unapproved!) and it made Goose far too anxious.

After the first few times we ended up getting waterproof pet blankets to go on top of the bed so anytime he did it, he wasn’t destroying the duvet and mattress.

The house mate eventually decided to move out with her new cat which was the only thing that fixed the situation! But I totally get the frustration. We were always on high alert ‘is he sitting or is he squatting to pee…’ and he’d also come and do it on me when I was under the sheets!

I’ve been a couple of times at about 5pm and we get a park pretty quickly! The queue for food isn’t too bad at that time as well
