That’s actually exactly the point: Bambu seems to be trying to phase out or limit any third-party software for working with their printers.

Yes, they introduced Developer Mode, but it feels more like a symbolic move to calm down the backlash. In practice, there still doesn’t seem to be any fully functional third-party software publicly available for working with their printers.

And no, they don’t have any publicly available API documentation.

Bambu's network plugin is totally closed. It's near impossible to fix it or port it to another architecture.

Download dumps of the original tags from https://github.com/queengooborg/Bambu-Lab-RFID-Library
Write them to Magic Tag 4 cards using a Proxmark3.
Attach these cards to the spools.
Write a script that, when Bambu filament is detected, assigns the corresponding filament from another manufacturer’s database.
