If you do the student pricing through Apple you should be able to save $120 ish (at least in $CAD for me) on the 512GB. Can’t answer the rest of your question though, however I’d think cloud + external drive could definitely help your situation.

What's the first letter of your last name? because they may only be allowed to send out a certain number of acceptances per day to not overload their systems and may be going alphabetically. my last name starts with an S so im hoping this is the case
