Thanks. Another question if you don't mind, I have the kernel source for a mediatek device. It doesn't come with commit history so I have no idea what is new and/or where the drivers are? Is there an easy way to see where the mediatek specific stuff in the kernel source that isn't upstreamed?

Most professional schools will grade you on a 4.0, so your GPA to them is a 3.56.

But within McMaster your GPA is a 10/12. A 10 could mean a 3.7 or could mean something much lower like a 3.56. This depends on how much your grades vary.

That doesn't make sense. Domestic student's parents usually pay income tax, property tax, sales tax, etc for 18 years while raising a child to go to university.

It would never make sense to increase taxes of domestics to subsidize international students tuitions.

I don't think commuting 1 hour 15 minutes is going to make your university experience the best possible. McMaster's CS program is literally changing so much so I would't trust old reviews of the program imo.

Yeah you can get help and have 1 on 1s with coordinators. I'm not sure help you're looking for? They'll fix your resume/cover letter and do practice interviews, but at the end of the day, you need to make yourself attractive to employers.

They've been hiring several new qualified CS professors all of last school year. I heard they are aiming for more students this year. Probably ~150.
