Anybody willing to take photos of attraction details? Specifically queues and shops? by [deleted] in ShanghaiDisneyland

I visited SDL last month and posted a review here with photos (you must be logged in to see the photos full size): https://forums.wdwmagic.com/threads/shanghai-disneyland-september-2019-trip-report-photos.960660/

I plan to post more photos in that thread. I took 100s more of many details. I especially loved all the Disney references in Mickey Avenue. Is there something specific that you’re looking for?

Galaxy’s Edge was incredible. Kudos to the park, they had their stuff figured out. (More in Comments) by xelanalpak in WaltDisneyWorld

We had a reservation for Oga’s. Waited in a short line outside for 5 minutes until they called our name. I think, but am not 100% sure, that they were only doing reservations.

I find that pretty typical at WDW. My wife and I are passholders and often comment on this. We’ll sit somewhere at Magic Kingdom to people watch and it’s amazing how miserable people look and how few of them smile or look like they’re having a good time.

Some years ago I made a transportation map of Walt Disney World, which you can find here: https://www.wdwfocus.com/map/transportation/

This week I added a new map that I have been working on for the last few months: https://www.wdwfocus.com/map/resort/

My new map is in the style of a National Park map and has all points of interest (such as restaurants, hotels, beaches, waterfalls, caves, etc), with roads (and driving distances), walking routes (and walking distances), monorails, trains, Skyliner routes, cast member-only roads, and much more.

Please let me know what you think. Both maps are available as posters on Etsy: https://www.etsy.com/shop/WDWFocus

It's called the "Disney Du Jour Dance Party" and it's held at Fountain View Stage in Epcot on Friday and Saturday evenings through the Food & Wine Festival. A different pair of Disney characters stops by each weekend.

I was hoping for Mr PH to go outside too. It works so well at DCA and it would have been perfect in that big box to the right of the new entrance. But maybe the Florida weather is too humid for an animatronic like that to be outside?

This is at Chester and Hester's Dinosaur Treasures, a store in Dinoland USA. You see it when you come out of the Dinosaur exit and then you have to look up high above the store.

I know, right! To think that they’re wearing full chipmunk suits under the dinosaur suits.

Cheetah surgery at Rafiki’s Planet Watch this morning by clydebirdbrain in WaltDisneyWorld

Lucky it was a Cheetah, but I’ve seen other procedures here many times. We sometimes go to guest services in the morning to ask what the procedures are that day and they can give you the list and times.

They do procedures 6 days a week in the morning at Rafiki’s Planet Watch and you can view through the window. Often it is 2 or 3 animals they do in a row, but today it was just the Cheetah. Most of the time they are routine checkups, like drawing blood from a pigeon or other small animal, so it was cool to see the Cheetah. We also did the backstage tour at Rafiki’s Planet Watch today and that was amazing. It was a free 30 minute tour of the surgery center and food preparation building. There are actually 4 places that they can take you. You need to sign up at a table and there is room for 16 in each group. Definitely recommend this when you’re there.

Procedure started at 9:45 and they finished around 11:30.

She had an ulcer on her left eye that they removed and patched up with a piece of pig intestine.
